Smile another effective way to gain traffic

English is not my first language,I think what I have learned from 30DC is priceless,I am selling musical instrument -flute on ebay,I plan to setup my
own wordpress online shop ,the key to make sale online is traffic,but I found the keyword "flute" is extremly competitive ,this means it is very difficult to rank well in google,can I find another effective way to promote my website to gain traffic?PLease give me some advice,thanks in advance!

Have you tried searching for less competitive keywords?

for example you could try:-
silver plated flute
custom flute
harmony flute
standard flute
traditional flute
cheap flute
etc....

the list could go on and on

You could try some brand names but bare in mind that Ed said it may be wise to avoid using those in your URL.

I would brainstorm as many keywords as you can in one session. It might take a good 30mins or more to completely empty your mind. Then you might continue to add to the list as and when they pop into your head.

Search for all these words in Market Samurai and let the numbers tell you.

Also, zeyu, you can look at flute keywords for just your own country or in just other individual countries, using Market Samurai's country settings.
