Hi eLaugher
Yeah it can be a bit confusing joining in to a bustling busy community like the 30 day challenge but ask questions & you will get all the help you need! I would first start by reading Caro's post 2009 30DC Rules & Procedures :-) Then have a read of Gurubob's post to see where to start with the preseason training http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/fo...n-content.html That should get you going for now - if you get stuck just ask again ![]() Bill

Hi eLaughter
After that head over to the training section via the link at the top of all the pages lots of stuff to watch there. We are currently in the Pre-season phase of the 2009 challenge which is all about getting you prepared for the big push in August. So all the videos are about the tools we will be using later so you get to know them now and can learn the techniques to use them later without having to learn the tool. Have fun . Hope that helps.

Hello eLaughter
What may be confusing you is the lack of training materials at this time. I started the 30DC after season 2007 and barely got underway before 2008 started, but I was able to see all the training modules that I was going to learn. There may not be much there now, but follow along as each training session is added through preseason as well as the challenge. You'll be amazed at all you're about to learn! Good Luck and welcome to the 30DC '09

Thanks for that link! I remember when those two were doing the challenge. I was a late starter as well and I know how confusing all of it can be. I got mid way and got stuck on wordpress direct. I still can't get it! So, I'm trying again. I did learn how to set up a wordpress blog, but I want to monetize. In addition, it has encouraged me to write and I have had some success at Ezine articles. Hang in there. |

The 30 Day Challenge 2009 starts August 1st 2009 so you are already ahead of the game. The tutorials up now in pre-challenge are to acquaint you with tools you will need once the Challenge proper gets underway in August.
Training from last year's 30 Day Challenge 2008 could be helpful as reference to general Internet Marketing info but each year's Challenge is different and has cutting-edge new material. I wouldn't worry too much about missing something or not getting enough training as once the Challenge begins you'll have a hard time catching your breath. If I'm wrong I'll get a moderator's "slap"....right about....now. That's part of the pre-training too as each year sees one or two little "slaps" or "slapettes" on the Internet. |
