Question Keyword density/ Element of competition? or NOT important

Hi,
We are almost done with Keyword and Competition research BUT none were really said about keyword density???

Also, its a noshow in Market Samurai ???

So does this mean its not important and we should NOT worry about it?

If it is even a little important, is there a module or function in Market Samurai that help us with that ? or maybe a future 30DC Video that will address this Competition parameter?

Thanks

Default later

I am sure it will come up later in a small way but it is not really that important in SEO any more.

At this point in the training Keyword density is not really
a factor to worry about.

That will come later when analyzing your competition and
content creation is discussed and how it fits into that.

Not important anymore, Not really important .....

How is that possible???
Content is what most import the serach engones?

Also, when looking at the competition Matrix, if 9 sites are almost equivalent and very strong and is being beaten by #10 who does not have much backling or even good on-site done, then the general comments is that he h=must have done some reall good about his inside content.....
So this is why I thought that keyword density MUST have some sort of influence...

If you just had to look at the matrix and do what your competitors don't do then wouldn't that too easy to rank high?

Thanks

My guess as to why it's not important any more is...

Google has just gotten smart enough to not need the extra keywords. Like they say on their Webmaster Guidelines...

Just focus on building visitor friendly content that is real. I think worrying about keyword density sometimes leads to content that doesn't read well and seems artificial or unprofessional.

Their just getting smarter... Thank God.

Rick,
Thank for the feedback, however I cannot keep thinking that the Google site "analyzer" is not a human, it is a Robot and so Robot just use rules and automatism, so there must be some automatic ruling that is used to analyze teh content and WHAT's Better than keyword density to do an automatic analysis of your page content?

Also I went thru the Google guideline but did not really find anything about NOT using keyword density.
They advise you not to STUFF it but keyword density tools are NOT about detecting STUFFINg mainly/only, it is mostly about establishing relationship between each words inside the page content and automatically trying to detect theme, synonyms, main ideas of teh text...

If you're convinced it is going to make a significant difference then why not test it?

It is one thing to have theories and it is another to test them in the real world. The guys running the 30DC have done the testing. They are not coming from a position of theory, so if they're not concerned about it at this point, that is good enough for me. If it's not good enough for you, there's nothing wrong with that. So why not simply put your theory to the test and see what happens?

Successful marketers test. Frustrated marketers don't. It's that simple.

It would be a relief for me because it's hard to fit my phrase naturally in an article. It's a 3 word phrase that is good in all aspects, but difficult to place in a sentence.
On the other hand the 2 word phrase parent niche is easy to use in an article, so I hope that I can use that instead?

For example : "milk carton" and "milk carton shop"
get my point?

thanks

Hi P4ul,
I agree with you that "milk carton shop" may not be so easy to fit into some text, however since I do not know much about this industry, I wouldn't know for sure.

The other thing I could not quite understand is when you said : "It would be a relief ...", what did you mean by that and how is this related to using a keyword density tool?
