Any Alternatives To Traffic Bug?

As many have stated on this forum, and many other forums, like "the Warrior Forum," traffic bug seems more like a scam.

I have not seen any real results from them, and I will not be buying their services.

My questions is, how can I replace their service with someone else.

I am currently using OnlyWire.com for social bookmarking, and it is free if you add a button to their site.

I just need Directory Submissions, Search Engine Submissions, and RSS Feed Submissions.

Anyone else not use traffic-bug and if so what do you use?

If someone mentions that bastion of bullshit - the warrior forum here again I'm going to barf.

As has been explained elsewhere Michael is completely retooling the site and it will be back up in a couple of days.

Traffic bug is an indexing tool -AN INDEXING TOOL - and it does a very complex job well

Feel free to manually bookmark all your content - it will cost you nothing other than your time. We even show you how to do it in pre-season

But I suggest you get all your advice from the magnificent warrior forum.

We just pedal scams and crap here (and as is probably needed to be pointed out that last sentence is SARCASM.)

Rather than delete your outrageous scam accusation (any time someone mentions something nice to say about 30dc at the warrior forum it is deleted very quickly) I'll leave it up.

Well I at least appreciate the fact that you bothered to replied. I have learned a lot from the past 30 day challenge. And I am very grateful that you have given me this information for free.

I am just wondering why it is that I have not found any of the social bookmarking backlinks. When I inserted my site into onlywire.com I spotted my social bookmarking submission in google within a few hours. I have inserted my site about 2 weeks ago, and have not found any backlinks.


Also, What is the difference between an indexing tool, and a ranking tool, as I have seen you give this argument before.

I am just trying to choose the right path. Thank you for replying once again, and I hope you can clarify it for me a bit more.

Quite frankly, I was surprised at Mr. Dale’s diatribe in response to reasonable criticisms made by concerned financial subscribers to traffic bug. The initial thrust of the majority of the posts was concerning the lack of communication from the staff at traffic bug. That was my point when I posted my concern because, as a paying customer, I would have expected some form of advanced warning with ongoing updates on the their website.

And it is a leap of faith by many to pay for a service when there is no viable way to gauge or measure the efficiency of that service. Tubbynerd says that it is an indexing tool, repeated several times for clarity; but traffic bug’s home page says that it does a whole lot more than that. It also says that it will improve your page rank and keep you there. If all of TB’s services fall under the banner of indexing, then fine.

It’s been a disappointing experience to have subscribed to a 30DC affiliate program and not been offered a positive and constructive comments to the site’s problems.

Remember this is the 30DC site and the 30DC uses it for indexing. If you are using it for anything else then that is your business.

Also coming in here and complaining about a tool really shows that the massive stickies at the top about 30DC is not the keeper of 3rd party applications just don't get read by the "know it alls". Please try to put what you think you know aside and follow the process.

I can understand also Ed's frustration at people quoting the Warrior Forum as an authority in what the 30DC is doing. Please have a think about what you are about to write here, before getting upset about something that is not related to the 30DC process. It's akin to posting a thread about your butcher being out of the sausages you like.

Totally off topic, but this thread currently ranks No 4 (broad match) for the term "bastion of bullshit", 89,000 competing pages! With a bit of backlinking, I'm sure we can take the No 1 spot!

Well I have used Traffic Bug and the submissions it made has saved me a lot of time and labor. They did appear in a search in Google also.

Umm....Hi Ed. Love the course and the forum. I'm also on that particular forum and it is what helped me get to a money making position selling my services (as have you). It's not all bad, and I certainly don't consider myself a BS'er. I've found it many times better than Digital Point for sure. That is a scam haven. In any event, I'll say what I sometimes say over at WF: We're all trying to get to a better life and are using different techniques. But the goal is the same. can't we just get along?
