I'm a Mac user, run Safari, and I can't seem to uninstall the Community Toolbar. It's driving me nuts to get the message every time I open Safari that the new version of Safari doesn't support the toolbar!
I went to Applications -> Toolbars and dragged it to the trash (and emptied the trash), but it doesn't seem to have worked. I still get the message. Can anyone help? Many thanks! Kim |

Hi Kim,
You should be able to uninstall by doing the following: 1) Click on the arrow next to where it says "TDC" on the left hand side of the toolbar 2) From the drop down menu choose "Toolbar Options" 3) In the Toolbar Options pop-up window click on "Additional Settings" on the right hand side. 4) Click on the button at the bottom which says "Uninstall Toolbar" Hope this helps! Jon.

Hi Jon,
Thanks very much for replying. But the whole issue is that the toolbar doesn't even load! I just get this error message when I start safari saying that the toolbar isn't compatible. Even after doing the traditional Mac uninstall (ie, dragging it to the trash) there's some component still there that's causing the issue. I may have to resort to a clean install of safari if I can't figure it out. It drives me nuts when tools do this. Thanks! Kim |

Hi Kim,
It might be that you've deleted parts of the toolbar in dragging to the trash, so you can't load it in order to uninstall it. Try installing it again, and then uninstall cleanly using the process above. Cheers, Jon.
