It is just amazing.

Got my second tumblr site up tonight about 11:30.

Went through the digg and deli dance, stumbled around and cast some lovin on some other sites.

12:20 checked with google and and my phrase scored #14. In less than an hour. Broad phrase match at #20.

The Blog Listed within Google after 39 minutes of adding to social networking sites.

Phrase Match: 2nd (1st is my 'Digg' of the site)

Broadmatch: 4th (3rd is my 'Digg' of the site)

Am stoked with the progress. Am tracking hits (both incoming and off-site) using mybloglog - so should get a good indication of things within 24 hrs or so.

Stay Tuned.

Just did a second site for another phrase.

Within 30 mins got listed after doing all the usual social booking marking things.

Broadmatch

Digg article #2

Simpy #4

Tumblr blog #6

The guy who owns the "new" number 3 ( was number 2) site I happen to know is paying his SEO company $1200 a year to maintain a good position.

Amazing

My spanking new 30DC tumblr took a bit longer to be ranked. I'd say 36 hours to be listed. I hadn't given it any loving - so it's a raw result.

Tumblr 14 phrase match with no loving (loving will happen tonight/tomorrow)

Tumblr 17 broad match with no loving (ditto)

Other markets still to be made into tumblrs - weekend project

Default Might not have been the 'right' way...

I might not have done this in the 'right' way but somewhat surprisingly for an internet marketing novice like me, I've been ranked!

Two nights ago I started developing an ezine for my website to which I've been madly uploading articles, all the whilst Digging, Stumbling, Technorati-ing and del.icio.us-ing. First thing morning (about four hours ago) one article was listed at number 18 for the exact match.

Now it is number 4 for exact phrase match and number 6 for broad phrase match.

I have just added a Tumblr blog linking to the article so let's see where that gets it...

Rather proud of my fumbling attempts, I really had no idea what I was doing other than following directions from the TDC, thanks guys!

Talking

I have had results with these sites:

Keyphrase 1 - netscape 2 hours, digg 2 hours
Rank: dig #7, yahoo #8, netscape #10, tumblr #none

Keyphrase 2 - tumblr 3 hours, netscape 5 hours
Rank: dig #none, yahoo #none, netscape #27, tumblr #32

Very happy with first keyword phrase as this is the one google trends said had heaps of traffic. Just need to put something on there to sell now .
