tumblr accounts suspended!

No need to get offended guys. We are all "guilty by association" here so don't take it personal.

Oddly, one of my tumblrs was deleted and they other wasn't... may it's just a matter of time.

I, honestly, have been writing the best content I can, including several original articles with no affiliate links. I go deleted too. So just relax.

There are many other services on the net that would love to have the content we are writing.

I did want to mention though, that I have seen a lot of cruddy sales tumblrs from this community around the web that is totally unacceptable. If you don't write quality stuff, don't expect to be welcomed anywhere.

My site had NO affiliate links.
It had a long quality article from day 0.
I am in no groups and the only socio blogs were 5 of my own.
I just added 5 more articles today.
I just got to position 13 in Google for my keyphrase within 48 hours.
I have no links that I am aware to connect with 30DC.
None of my posts said "How to"

My site was banned.

I really really wish I had backup up my content - I'd written some great original stuff on the fly.

Tumblr have behaved like total t*ssrs. I received no warning email.
I had done nothing wrong AFAIK, other than to get in the top 20 on Google.

I wish 30DC had worked with Tumblr on this!

The post from Caro about swapping out was only posted today and furonically my firewall had auto banned the 30dc site so I haven't been able to log-in for 30 hours either.

I wish I had backed up my content!

Really demoralised. Really sucks.
Back to position 34999...

Before you go off and start building your own sites, there is a reason why Ed and I taught the strategy of using Web 2.0 properties. Your are NOT going to get the same traction in the search engines using a fresh domain.

I agree with Garrett. If you get knocked down, and you have honest to goodness quality content (hopefully you kept your content archived somewhere else!), there are dozens of other services that would love to have you. Don't let this throw you down! Keep it up, you guys are doing wonderfully =D

Just make sure you heed Ed and Dan's wisdom... this is a very tender stage

I believe Dan means that without our popular friend, tumblr, it'll be next to impossible to replicate the meteoric rise to the top of the Google rankings using a completely new domain name tha tis not associated with any Web 2.0 apps like tumblr, blogger, etc.
