I have had only one of my three accounts suspended... It was the only one that I had done bookmarking for... about five of the total list on SocialPoster.com. So far the other two are still alive.
I'm wondering if there is a pattern. Were your suspended accounts just those that you had bookmarked or all of them? Happy day, Anne

Alot of blogs that had nothing to do with the 30DC also got deleted apparently. BTW: guys I did an experiment... I was gonna shut up about it until now to make sure... But... My stuff is still up. Here's what I did half a day ago... I filled up half my tumblr's with constructive content: "What has been my best sausage making experience in life..." "how passionate I am about sausage making" "how i think a sasuage can be improved by adding x spice to it" etc... The other half I filled up with typical tumblr content: "susages suck!" "where's my WII, nintendo suck as much as sasuages" "today I woke up and had a sasuage... blah, it was yucky" Guess which got deleted? The positive ones... Guess which ones stayed? Right, the whinathons and rants. They were both personal-based, and without affiliates. |

I'm not sure what heuristics that tumblr is using, but their policy can't have that much to do with it. The reason that I say this is that a) both my accounts have been suspended, and b) neither of the blogs had any content. None. Nada, zip, niet, you name it it wasn't there. I wasn't ready, so I just created the accounts against this weekend, when I would have content to put up. tumblr is overreacting to something, I'm just not sure what.

well - i am not running for the hills yet - i did not have all my account suspended - it appears that the ones I created first within my niches are still up - it is the other secondary ones that they suspended. While my content is completely different on each one - i think the fact that they are very similar in terms of the niche - that probably trigged a flag for tumblr. I contacted tumblr support and let them know that it was a mistake and I am waiting to hear a response. Meanwhile I am confident that Dan and Ed will continue to lead us in the correct direction - so no reason for folks to start jumping the tumblr ship. We still have lots of other work like submitting ezine articles and such..

It IS about Tumblr...
I had two blogs. One ranking on top of Google. Two posts on each. Good info I thought... it is a blog so it should be ok to add info as we go and it should be ok to use affiliate stuff. doesn't say it isn't in the terms. Damn it! |

Call me a fool, but I can't resist playing with fire. Which is to say, a popped over to tumblr, just to see if I could open a new account. First I tried with a gmail plus addressed email. This bounced me to the content policy page. Then I tried with gmail, but no plus address, with the same result. Finally I tried with one of my other email accounts, completely non gmail, and no plus addressing. Same thing again.
In between attempts, I cleared all my private data, cookies, etc, so unless he is blocking ip addresses or something like that, it looks to me like tumblr isn't allowing any new blogs at this time. Has anyone else tried to set another one up, and if so, what happened?
