Yeah I'm doing the same thing. I'm going to host my own WordPress and use a theme that's similar to the Tumblr themes.

Mine is down as well. I really wrote it as a personal search through a culture of a sub-genre of fashion. 4 paragraphs totally new original content. so sales pitch. no affiliate links. one link to a site describing where i was going on my search. thats it. i think we are just getting discriminated against for the pattern of mass registering on different blog communities too rapidly.
On the up side, I made it #12 in an hour! I'm still impressed.

Mine is OK this morning and I have 5 affiliate links. I posted just one article about 18 hours ago and I'm at 25 broad match and 21 phrase match for my umbrella phrase. I'm not sure what this is all about. Perhaps it is too many posted to your blog in a short period of time??? It would be great to hear what Ed thinks about all of this.

I am ranked 4th with my phrase and I got there without using Tumblr, I used my own domain and the other lessons we have learned from Ed. I think if we use digg, stumble etc we can achieve the same thing.
My tumblr blog was way down on 4th page.

Do you think we can get our content back, cause I had very high quality content there and worked hard to write it. I wrote them an email if they can give me back at least my content. We'll see.

Also if we move to our hosting and domain will we get ranked so good and so fast? New domain will not have any trust at all.

I wish I would have checked in here this morning. Spent the whole morning doing the bookmarking thing. Then I had to log in to tumblr to claim my blog for technorati..
