Get Off The Special Sauce! Day 27 Ways To Build Links VERY Powerful

Hi there fellow 30DCers,

I wanted to create a quick post where I shout at you

GET OFF THE SPECIAL SAUCE!

lol

Seriously - the Special Sauce is a great tactic - it IS like having a turbo (rocket) fitted into your car.

AND I am concerned that you seem to be losing site of Day 27 teachings about link building.

The Special Sauce is powerful - so I am not going to debase it.

AND what you have been taught with building links is ALSO powerful.

The 'downer' may be the manual component (well guess what Special Sauce has that as well! Most of internet marketing has a manual component - as even with software, it still takes you to run it).

Please remember too - given the unprecedented magnitude of numbers participating in the Thirty Day Challenge - we have, more than ever, a social obligation to the wider community to expose members here to techniques that are recognized as White Hat and are also Free (as per the platform the 30DC has been built on this year).

So PLEASE - go watch Robert's Videos from Yesterday.

Here's the thing: I KNOW what special sauce is...and I was IMPRESSED and ENTHUSED by the Google Alerts Heads-up!

And what about the principal of posting to high page rank (related) entities - like Squidoo lens on your Niche - these are VALUABLE teachings for you to IMPLEMENT!

I think that it is a combination of the links, alerts and the social bookmarking. If the alerts are showing that your content is being picked up (linked to), got to that site and spread some social love on it. That should help to drive more traffic to your content.

Perhaps the 'special sauce' was to help automate that process.

Did you not just read Caro's post? Caro just wrote a jewel and by the 4th post on this thread we were already having conspiracy theories and guesses as to the secret.

Stop obsessing on the Sauce! This is why we're not being told. It's like a teacher not picking the kid jumping out of their seat, hand up in the air making 'pick me' noises. The teacher is so not picking that kid - in fact the teacher is probably secretly rolling his eyes.

Actually I think Willy Wonka (both movie versions although I prefer the original) is probably a more apt comparison although I'm not sure how and I really hope I'm Charlie but in girl form and cuter... must need more coffee.

Excellent post as always Caro!

The "secret sauce" is a great tool. . .however if you APPLY each of the other steps that Rob is teaching you (especially days 27 & 28, super powerful stuff) you won't need the "special sauce", as you'll be able to rank no. 1 with these tactics alone.

Thank you, Caro, for yelling at us, it was much needed.

As I mentioned elsewhere, these last four days are not for feeling sorry for ourselves, but to put to use all the wonderful information we´ve been getting handed to us on a silver platter. And I for one, intend to do just that.
