I see some people saying the goal is to make $10 per day, and some saying the goal is to make $10 by the end of the month.

So is the challenge

I believe the income will increase exponentially.

If it increase linearly, then I guess I'll faint.

bear in mind ... while $10 after 30 days doesn't seem like much ... the process of learning how to make that $10 is what is invaluable. Once you know how to make the $10, making multiples of that is a much different game.

While I do not want to leave you with the perception of my being any kind of a traditional IM kind of person ... for I am surely not even close ... I have translated several "brick and mortar" businesses to the internet (real estate and financial services).

What I saw as I was learning my approach is that many of my fellow students spent THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars on learning all the tips and tricks, but would never pull the trigger and take that first action ... and that is the key ... taking action.

For example, one of my businesses since 2000 has been buying and selling real estate via the internet (no info products, ebooks, etc. ... just buying and selling single family homes in my local area). I spent gobs of money learning the ins and outs, and tended to run in to the same people at each event over the course of 18 months. When I would sit with these folks at lunch or dinner and talk about deal flow, lead generation, selling strategies, etc., I was always amazed that 95% of the people I was speaking with had NEVER made a SINGLE offer on a property. This is after spending around $40,000 in seminars, travel, lodging, etc. They were always making excuses about crazy stuff like "not having a separate phone number for the business, not having business cards, not having a corporate entity set up, etc. etc. etc." I was always shocked because real estate is the kind of market where, if you applied what you learned, you could make a minimum of $20K per deal ... shoot, my first property netted me $57K in profit!

OK ... back on point ... so what is this rant all about ...

The beauty of the 30DC is that Ed and the gang make it:
1) so painstakingly, brain-dead simple, with
2) detailed step-by-step instructions,
3) at no cost,
that anyone participating and applying what they are taught should be able to walk through this without any excuses.

Heck, my guess is that most of these kiddos who are participating are going to achieve the goal, because they have not figured out what all the excuses are that we adults use to limit ourselves.

Net, net .... if you make that first $10, you may just be set for LIFE!

Funny thing is, last year it was to make your first ($1) dollar. But just about any sale that was made was for more than $10. So, essentially it's like last year.
