Dan and Ed are running a conference at Beechworth over the next couple of days and have been busy preparing for that. But they have been testing the bookmarker in the 'labs" for a while. prepare for things to start happening after the conference is finished and everyone is back in their respective countries.
Remember the warning that Ed has iterated a few times, they expect things to be flaky in the beginning as the whole thing needs to be stress tested. Also remember that if you post crap it will be scriutinised by a human and discarded and you will be warned or will be banned. Quality Content Only

Funny, here a quote from Login To The Thirty Day Challenge
"Over the next couple of days we will begin testing and validating your accounts, and in about ten days time we will be posting up some more instructions on how you can use this service to post bookmarks." So for how long we've been waiting ? Come on guys, just do a simple research, there are plenty of fully automated social bookmark submitters. For example: ASP (auto social poster) - a wordpress plugin which post your link to 34 social bookmarking sites immediately after publishing your post i wordpress blog. The price is impressive, but i know the methods how to get for $20 or even for free. BmSubmitter - This one was made by Russian guy and only posts to 10 social bookmarking sites, but in a few weeks it will post to 25 using rss feed to post fully automatically to random accounts with random description. So you won't even need to push the button. This one for $35 + It's open source, so you can change anything you want. They started the project only 10 days ago I think you better spent that money on a quality product which you can set up on your own hosting. So it's up to you: pay a few bucks or wait for months. No offence, I like 30DC, i really do, but i hate waiting for such things... + I myself use BmSubmitter and ASP and I don't regret that I've paid $50 for both of them, they've made me so much more.

tvsm you are certainly entitled to your opinion re which service you use.
There is that element though of complaining about a gift you are being given because you are impatient. As per my post above, the guys have been running a seminar, and they made no clear indication of a date, only an indicative "about 10 days". Attitude is everything I have found, and wasting emotion/time on complaining about such things (as I am doing now) is also wasting positive productive time as well! Let's move on and be grateful when it goes live, I know I am very excited about this form of drudgery being removed from the 30DC process by clever automation.

I can understand the frustration when something cool is shown to us but we have to wait. However, there are plenty of free bookmarking tools that you can get started with right now if you want to!
Social bookmarking service. Fast tagging and posting to all major social websites - SocialMarker.com is one of them and this is one that Ed was raving about last year. |

While I love the fact that the 30 Day Challenge is free, I do recognize that pretty much nothing is free because you have to devote TIME! And TIME is probably the most precious resource on this earth. Spending too much time looking for the FREE or cheap alternatives often times becomes way more costly then just forking over a few bucks for tools that are top notch. I do understand that some people can't afford to spend money. I was there during the first 30 day challenge myself. However, I did everything I could to scrounge up money for tools that I thought were going to give me a landslide of an advantage instead of constantly relying on FREE tools. I sold items in my house, put things on my girlfriends credit card, sold driftwood out of my yard on Ebay, and even worked some super lame jobs to buy the tools that I needed on the net. One of the greatest things I've heard Ed mention in the last few months is that they may possibly use Pay Per Click again during the next 30 day challenge. I was doing backflips of joy when I heard this because I think many 30 day challengers have really missed out on lot's of opportunities because of this so called "it must be free rule". I think that thinking is severely flawed and will put a huge pause on many people's chances of success. Be prepared to spend money when it's wise to do so and will save you time and will reap a good ROI. My motto is pay top dollar for the best tool because in the end the amount of time you will save will trump the measly amount you saved by seeking the free alternative. I really think this "everything has to be free" model has held lot's of people back and am thrilled that Dan and Ed are considering PPC for the next 30 day challenge. If someone isn't prepared to spend a few bucks for their internet business then they probably are not really prepared to have a internet business. Cheers and beers. Jmo
