Default How The Forum Works: What Each Section Is For: Where To Post What

Hi everyone

We've started for 2008 - WHOO HOO!

This year is going to be the most amazing year yet!

I thought it worth confirming for people where best to post your questions.

If you have a question pertaining to the 30DC 2008 please post it in this particular forum HERE (in this part of the forum).

This the the BEST place to do that. If you are not sure where 'here' is; It's the General Chat Section.

If you have something to share about your Internet Marketing journey - successes, challenges etc - there is a section called "Thirty Day Challenge Experiences" for that.

That essentially is where you'd post statements, sharings, feelings, experiences etc.

Now - things relating to IM in general are to now go into the: General Internet Marketing Chat Section.

I am aware both that section and this has the words: "General Chat" in them.

We would have changed the wording on this section to reflect what it is about, namely:

30 DC 2008 Questions - post your questions here. Except we'd lose all the great SEO acknowledgement we've achieved that brings more people like you here to enjoy this great experience.

Now the "Extra Tips" is more a section for experienced Internet Marketers to share (ie: give/offer) tips related to IM.

As opposed to any of us searching for Tips, ie: if you're looking for tips you can ask that question in the "General Internet Marketing Chat Section".

So just to confirm - THIS section is for all QUESTIONS relating to 30DC 2008. (so not this post - this part of the forum lol)

Oh, and we'd really LOVE it if you'd run a search first to see if your question has already been asked. It is a great search function - and it just helps everyone to not clutter up the place by having 5 Threads asking/answering the same question

I am so excited for you all, and I can't wait to watch you all experience your own unique 30DC journey and success!

Best to you

Caro

Default Please provide more categories for getting help!

Is there any chance you could create some subdivisions for help questions, PLEASE?

There are lots of little questions where we (I mean me!!) are getting stuck, and the threads quickly fall off the first page without getting answered.

Perhaps "traffic", "wordpress help" or whatever.

I wish that had been done as well. We're a couple of days to the end of the month and I still have questions I haven't gotten answered on live calls either. I will go post them again and hope that this can be expanded, even if it happens after the official 30 days is over.

Default Samurai question for moderator and/or Ed

This may be redundant but I haven't seen it answered anywhere, so here goes: When we first started the challenge, MS gave us a 40 day trial. When viewing the site today (day 30) it states that on September 1st we'll lose the functions we have because the software will be out of beta.

Does this mean we only have 30 days instead of 40? I want to purchase it but running up to the first of the month is going to suck rocks!

Thought I'd ask because we do have some people who didn't start until mid-month, it's not fair to do a bait n switch this late in the game

Which site? and have you actually asked the MS guys before accusing people of bait and switch. That is really a low blow and I hope you do rethink your remarks.

Not to worry - we plan to continue to look after 30 Day Challengers - right up until the next 30 Day Challenge begins - and even beyond, if Ed, Rob and Dan let us be part of the fun next year!

The mention of September 1st is something slightly different...

September 1st was scheduled as the public launch date of Market Samurai (when non-30DC users could access the software) - but it was postponed by a couple of days while I looked after my girlfriend who was in hospital over the weekend (appendix, but she's doing fantastic now).

For most 30DC users, the trial will end around September 10th (40 days after most people signed up).

For all other users, the 40 Day Trial will end 40 days after they signed up.

I hope this clarifies things, and answers your questions.

We're Noble Samurai, not evil ninjas - we'll always look after people
