I would recommend Ken Envoy's "Make Your Words Sell" as a good starter for writing affiliate copy for the web. Obviously it's intended to pre-sell Ken's SBI program, but it is free to download and has some really good info.

And Andy, I agree with what you say about the plethora of those ugly MS Publisher sales-pages on the web. Major turn-off.

That's a good tip Mike, I read recently the number of people surfing the net via mobile device's is staggeringly high, and you can almost guarantee that 95% of the sites out there look pretty ugly on a small screen.
