Hi,
I've just realised that the theme I've installed doesn't contain the necessary widget for selling.. My question is... how do I rectify this...? Am I stuck with the theme? Thanks in advance. Col |

Col,
Do you have your own hosting? If you do, you can edit these two files: functions.php (you can create this file if it doesnt exist) sidebar.php To learn how to "widgetize" a theme, check out this link: How to Widgetize non-widget Wordpress theme If you are using the wordpressdirect hosting, Im not too sure if you can do it. Dont quote me on that though, because I havent tried. I am using my own hosting.

I noticed when I checked my account for WordPress that there is an ftp site and password. Maybe it is possible to edit the current files being hosted through WP.
This would be good because the best theme I could find was not widgetized and then the next best puts the ad down at the bottom of the page. The 3rd choice (not a good one) kept breaking when mousing over links. I had to report that one it was so bad. ================================================== ===== Recipe For Salad |
