Default Why I went to WP admin panel

I am using WPD but I had wanted to add a page to my blog which you have to do directly from the WP admin panel, so while I was there, I decided to try to add the post I had trouble with in WPD, so I did and the post worked like a charm.

I intend to use WPD for most things but to add a page, you have to go to WP admin.

Hope this helps.

Ah that sounds more promising... but i dont see any admin panel for youtube anywhere. How do you get to that? I see a website settings thing but nothing about youtube there.

Are you going to your hosting site? I am using Bluehost but dont see any settings like that there.

Whatever this panel is, it must be what I am missing.

Default Why I went to WP admin panel

I did it this way because I could not get You Tube to work with WPD. When Emily said that I could add a page through the WP admin panel, I went there via my website settings on WPD.

While in WP admin, I decided to try to add the video via the admin panel and it worked like a charm. I intend to use the WPD panel except to add video or a page.

I thought I had posted this before so if it comes up twice, sorry

Default How to access WP admin panel via WPD

To access your WP blog you need to access the wordpress admin area directly.

Go to WPD, website settings, and the link/username/password is there.

Good luck.

See I wasn't talking about the WP admin log for what I did. I was talking about the Youtube2WordPress admin control panel... which is located in the manage content software. Now under the youtube there should be a button that says Admin Control panel. Your first time it will ask for a key # you will find that in the setting button.

Default Youtube Solution

OK - so the team at wordpressDirect got back to me about the format to use - and it isn't intuitive, but it is easy.

Here is an example:

If the youtube URL is:

h t t p : / / w w w .youtube.com/watch?v=WbFFs4DHWys

then simply use this format directly into your post (no need to put it into the html code):

[youtube WbFFs4DHWys]

That's all there is to it!

Steve

I submitted a help ticket several days ago with Worpress Direct but it was put on hold and I've never heard from them.

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!!
