Mom2One, I am a Mom2Two and I am further behind than you are. But I have decided this: To take it one step at a time and if the 30DC turns out to be an 88dc or beyond...well, so be it.
I have heard it said many times that taking that first step is the most important thing. But I have never heard it said that we have to speed through the following ones. One step at a time.
Of course it helps when people around you (here in the forum/team members) are understanding, supportive and are willing to take time out of their own personal situations and help out.
Hang in there. And just keep asking questions.

Have a great weekend and come back refreshed!

Default I understand

I understand how you feel as I have been feeling very behind and I joined in the first day of the course. I am a full-time college student who is graduating in about 2 1/2 months, then I am an inspired writer, so those take first priority.

Anyway I think that as long as you continue in the class then you will be absolutely fine as long as you do not give up. I prefer to read the transcripts and then watch the videos at a later time.

My Market Samurai software is finally working to its full potential so I need to review over my past notes to gain a better understanding of what all of the numbers and symbols mean.

I finally got my Wordpress direct setup so now I need to figure how to put the ad together and I am in business.

So keep going!

Default It's not so bad here on the wharf..

Hi mom2one,

I think you have voiced the opinion of many folks on here - but like the rest of the folks that are also standing on the wharf with you (nice euphemism there Caro) you have a drive and determination to succeed.

That is what will carry you through and that is why you will succeed. I have no doubt that there are people who have already given up and whilst you are feeling a little overwhelmed your thoughts are not about giving up but on how you can find a way through to succeed.

I too am playing catch up but it's the kids summer holidays and it's not easy to concentrate when there is constant distraction and arguements (I have 3 girls )) going on in the background. And we all know how difficult it is to devote time to anything when you have a family, a washing pile that is closer to the ceiling than the floor and all the rest that goes with being a mom!

I think that if anyone is feeling at all overwhelmed by the #30dc then you should console yourself with the knowledge that the information will still be there on day 31, 32, 33, 34 etc and beyond and if it takes a little bit longer to reach your goal there is no shame in it at all. Instead take pride in the fact that you fully intend to get there with a little help from your friends on the wharf.

Another catchup here. I wasn't even going to do it, but ended up fielding 'team' questions for a colleague who was out of town, and took the leap. I've been working through them bit by bit, aiming for 2 a day, and have got myself from starting out on Day 4 (after taking longer than expected to do pre-season) up to day 7 today.
In some ways, it's actually been an advantage. My trial of Market Samurai might go a bit longer, and there have been more features enabled on it from the start than others got. I've seen some of the issues come up in the forums and been able to a. not panic and b. head straight for the solution, and finally I've been able to avoid some issues altogether, that came up and were solved for the first people that came through, but are already fixed by the time I got there...
Keep smiling, and keep plugging away. You're already doing the hardest job there is, Mom2One, so this process should be a snap by comparison. Unlike your 'other' child, though, this one won't grow up while you're not looking - it will all be there waiting for you in your own time!

Smile One day at a time...

Keep going. I understand exactly where you are coming from.

I did the 30 day challenge last year and got nowhere. Even though I did everything.

So this is the second time round for me. I will do everything and then see if it works better this time - who knows...

Meanwhile I have to organise other things and people. The children are off school due to the summer holidays and I have housework to catch up on too.

I find lists help.

Then when I cross things off I feel I have actually accomplished something.

The only thing that keeps me going is the fact I make money online indirectly through marketing my Disney villa and through a few links on the web for an affiliate program (over £500 in the past two years). So I know that this can work if we just pod along and listen to the gurus who actually understand it all!

Feel free to PM me, poke me on facebook or whatever if you need some more encouragement.

all good advice. i'm lagging behind a bit and have some major time committments on the horizon. its quite common i believe.

apologies if someone else has posted this, but you wont be able to do anything else until you have another niche anyway.

the best niche ideas will come to you when you are away from your computer so this weekend might be the perfect opportunity to open yourself up to new inputs and see what ideas come to you. this weekend could be a blessing in disguise...

Default Go Mom2One

Stay with it...I'm in the same boat, but have kicked around long enough to know that it takes time for things to sink in. This is a very well designed program and ED,Dan,Caro and Guru Bob have done a fabulous job. The problem is they make things look easy because they are really good at it. We'll get there...

Take the time to decompress...a nice dry Sancerre, just chilled right, will do just fine.

Default Stuck in traffice, but can see the wharf...

I think I'm the behind all of you...lol!

I'm having issues with WPD and since I'm totally new to blogging I'm having to learn WP also to be albe to do anything...needless to say, I'm still waiting for my blog to come up!

But it will work out. Somehow I'll get it figured out!

And I really needed this post today as I was thinking that if at least one thing did not get fixed today then it was a sign to leave! And I did not want to leave!

Talking Just Keep tracking

Hi,
I know exactly how you feel - two hour daily commute into London by car ( Trust me no one in the world understands that one) and family who thinks I am playing at it...

Of all the courses Ive been on this one is way up there.

I am so far behind its unbelievable but to quote baldrick - I have a cunning plan - getting some cartiledge removed from my knee so will have 8 days to do nothing but 30DC.

If you need a little more support why not give me a call on my email - Tanksalot1804@gmail.com

do not feel bad. I am very far behind myself. I am still on day 2! I still can not find a micro niche to go with. Everything I try either has WAY to much competition, or does not get any searches. I have found I think was 2, but as I started to look for info on them, I ended up finding that there is already a #30dc member working on that. So I decided not to go with it, for a couple of reasons. But main reason, I did not want the person to think I was trying to steal there idea, and then end up getting a bad reputation.

So I am still working with MS looking for things. I spent hours on it daily, but I am not going to give up. I will find one!! I know I will.
