Wow! I am really feeling blessed this morning.

I feel refreshed (I slept in!)

I feel understood (you know how hard it is to explain the 30DC to the people around you)

I feel inspired (the replies and suggestions are most appreciated and welcomed and they are very good...I especially think working from the PDFs is a great idea. I had to do that when one of the videos wasn't streaming, and it worked out beautifully)

I feel determined (there is nothing like getting together a bunch of like minded individuals, sharing stories and hardships, and working on SOLUTIONS together!)

This is a CHALLENGE after all, not a walk in the park!

Thank you all so much for chiming in, for sharing, and for providing different viewpoints. I know you helped me, but what is even more ripper, is that we have all helped each other! (can you use "ripper" this way???)

P.S. my mother may have provided me with a niche this morning when she called. How cool is that?

Mom2one that's great to hear. It's a source often underutilized...family, friends and those closest to you who have expertise in certain areas.

You are discovering fundamental skills which can be applied to any market and any situation. Which is very cool and while some of the tricks of the trade and internet tools may change the fundamentals of markets, research, testing and tweaking to success never change.

Who else do you know who's an expert at something? AN electrician? Home Depot does those free do it yourself seminars. You could expand upon that knowledge because they never give you the full story and people always need something to refer to.

Do you know an author? A lawyer with specific skills? All these types of expertise can be leveraged with your new found marketing skills.

Be aware from now on when people are talking to you and ask, "Can that be a niche for me?"

I'm glad you are feeling re-invigorated. Getting the market part right is the most important and the training will be available after AUg 31. So you can go at your own pace.

Keep that determined attitude and do what you can when you can. Consistent Little steps lead to BIG RESULTS.

The niche didn't work out, too competitive, even with drilling down, but I got an email from friends out of the country today, which got me going again in a completely different direction.

There are niches all over the place, because there are problems that need solving, and not just in the areas of weight loss, real estate, and dogs!

I love tools and the 30DC certainly gives you plenty of those!

Thanks for checking in and posting your thoughts.

Keep 'em coming!

well sorry to hear it did not work out. But like I said. Hang in there and do not give up. This is the point that MOST people quit. SO just keep your head up and slugging out them idea's.

Thumbs up

Hi Mom@ One and all who've posted!

I'm with you Mom2One...I scraped what I thought would be my niche and have been looking for a new one all day today.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the process and that's what matters. I look forward to working the Challenge each day, behind or not.

Hanging in is the key....and hanging on to Ed, Dan, Bob, Caro, Nez, HendryLee and all the others who are giving so graciously of themselves.

Thank you for sharing...know you're not alone.

Blessings,
Frank

P.S. Thank you Caro for your kind words of wisdom.

I look forward to the 30DC every day as well.

There is nothing like this anywhere. Period!

The training is truly a gift, and the people here are kind, generous and giving.

I am truly inspired. I will be living the life soon. I will have money in the bank and the free time to enjoy it. It is a matter of perseverance and determination. I have been at this for some time now and I am on the cusp of greatness, dare I say awesomeness?

If I've learned anything over the past 2 1/2 years, it is that mindset is one of the most important factors in personal and professional success. Like many people, I have my good days and my bad days. I am a single mom, I have bills, I have commitments, and yes, I get tired and frustrated, but then there is this "secret" life I live that many of my friends don't understand.

But you are all here, and there is nothing better than hanging around like-minded people.

You ALL are the best.

Kudos to Ed, Dan and all the mods out there, and all of the participants who are slugging it out without complaint. It is because of all of you that I don't care much about the dirty clothes. And a special thanks to my daughter, who has said "I Love You" more in the past 13 days than ever before.

She gets it!

Keep at it! It feels so good once things finally "click" for you and you start making headway.

Rankings... then traffic... then SALES!

I'm totally addicted to it now.

Mom2One: Since you feel well rested this is a good time to think of your niche. This site was very helpful to me: eHow | How To Do Just About Everything!. I looked at some topics that I enjoy (you don't have to be an expert), started writting things down, not thinking about the challenge during this time, just writing nonstop as if I am writing on a Journal. Then its back to the notes to highlight some words and topics of interest. The video or pdf file "Getting of ideas" was very helpful. Ed will show you how you can find some books and products on those subjects that you highlighted. In no time you will get with Guru Bob to "unleach" Market Samuray! You will have your subject, your affiliate product, and soon will be testing your niche. Make sure you go to nameboy.com,write down your site's url, and click on "go nameboy go". I love that!
The videos are fun to watch. It's funny how Dan Raine look at his screen and move his eyes back and forth during the broadcast, hehehe.

Keep going. Take care!
