Default What happens after 30DC has finished...

Hi all
This is my first post so please bear with me

I am way, way behind on the 30DC....still languishing around day 3 and 4. Unfortunately 30DC came at a very bad time for me work wise....so I will have very little time to do the daily tasks until about the middle of next month.
Also Im a bit of a newb, and didnt find out about 30DC until after it had actually started...so I spent a lot of the little time I had going over the pre-season stuff.

My question is....what happens after 30DC has finished?

Are people like myself going to be able to "overrun" by a month or two and still have access to the tools etc. I understand Market Samurai will need to be purchased after 40 days...to keep all the features active.... but what about the actual tutorials etc?

BTW....Ed and co.....Im finding 30DC brilliant (a big thanks to you all), so I really want to be able to complete it...at my somewhat snails pace

cheers to all

Alan

Alan,
I have missed a lot because of family holiday commitments with no interweb access. I am also a complete novice. I am just off to Mum's until Friday. How about you and me starting a latecomers team?

Nigel.

Thanks for the welcome...great to know things carry on after the 30 days... (shame about the bar tho )

Hey Nigel.....yea it would be great to see how other latecomers are doing...keep in touch eh

The thing I find hardest is focusing. I can only fit about an hour a day in at the moment (what with work and family etc)...and I find myself flicking from thing to thing, and not achieving much at all.......which reminds me, spending too much time browsing around forums...although fun.....is not helping me advance through the lessons.....so back to the challenge for me

cheers....Alan

Default Oh, don't worry about the bar...

It closes at 2 am in that other time zone - you're time zone is just fine.

One of the advantages of being in a global community.

Not that drinking is good for you or anything. Make the 30DC your new addiction of choice - it's more addictive than crack, but you can do it in front of your kids and they just sing along with the theme song. (Or they think Darth Vader has joined the 30DC when he says... "There is no charge for awesomeness!"

For me, after the 30DC is over I will try to meet all the commitments that I've pushed off, catch up on paying my taxes (who pays their taxes when they are busy writing content!), and reintroduce myself to my wife and kids. "Hey, look! Dad is pulling himself away from the computer!!"

Yes, life can get back to normal but the challenge will still be here. It just transforms into the day by day challenge of perseverance - and that is the greatest challenge of them all.

Just found that Norfolk has WiFi! Although the signal is weak, I have a connection in a small village.

Alan,
I know what you mean. I was able to do the pre season stuff but when 30DC actually started, I was away for two weeks. Catching up with all the lessons is a bit of a challenge. Added to that, my chosen niche has little chance of monetisation even though it looked good to start with. Looking on the bright side, I appear to have found another and the Weebly effort, WPDirect and Hostgator site will not go to waste as it was good practice.

Nigel.

Yeah but it's only one router for the whole county

Hi Alan,
You're not the only late starter...don't sweat it. Do what you can when you can and do like I did: Setup a file in your "bookmarks" folder for the challenge, then save each day in that folder. Then when you have time, it's all in one place and you can go at your own pace.
