-I have just submitted an article on my blog to Digg. It has returned a message that there is another article the same as mine. When writing the article I put 2 article I had found and combined the two, change the wording and adding others. I have look at the other article and it is similar in part but not all as I have added extra information to it. Has anyone any advice on what to do about this. Suggestions please.

Write original content only. Google will see the same as Digg, and will not index your page, or not rate the site as high up as you have to. It's ok to use a couple of lines and give credit to another author. But copying text from others will only do you bad, and is not what you are teached at 30DC.
You got to do some work to get revenue. But the work you do today can give you income a long time in the future! Building a business takes alot of time at the start, and you earn little, but as time goes and you keep working, it will be less work on your part and more earnings! Good luck!

I would re-write the bit that is similar and then try again, or just don't digg this one. Where possible though it is better to write your own stuff from scratch.

Hi
Try using Copyscape to double check your content is original, even if you did write it yourself. Thanks Lynne ![]() |
