Default Ezine article aproved Yea! but rejected socially

My first ezine article got approved and got ranked an "expert" (not really sure what that means but sound good)

However when I tried to social mark 'em both propeller and diggs rejected them as spam based on them being at ezinearticle.

Anyone else encounter this.

Hi,

I look at Ezine Articles as a social site like Digg. You're getting a backlink to your site from Ezine even though you're not bookmarking a blog post. Socially marking an Ezine article isn't doing anything for your anchor site.

I let my network know when I have a new article approved using Twitter and now FriendFeed. You could also bookmark it in Delicious and link to it from your Squidoo Lens.

But Digg, Propeller, etc. aren't going to let you socially bookmark an Ezine Article. They call it spamming although it's not, it's more like something that is off track and doesn't belong.

easy answer: Digg & Propeller won't let you bookmark EzineArticles pages.

use some of the other 40 bookmarking sites on SocialMarker.com, most of them will allow it.

Rewrite the article, put up on your blog and socially bookmark it. Due to the quality of a lot of articles in EZA, a lot of social bookmarking sites disallow EZA.

Default Thanks

thanks for the tip, musignr. I did the rest of the ones Ed said to focus on but it didn't occur to me to use some of the other ones when my standards refused to cooperate.
