Default Ezine Article Expert Author, RSS Feed, Front Page, how can I maximize this???

Hi Everyone!
This is my first post, but I would greatly appreciate any feedback! My article was finally approved by Ezine Articles, and the information they sent seems exciting, even though it could just be what everyone gets.

It says I earned Expert Author status, my article will be on the high-traffic home page later today, it has been sent to the RSS feed and I can add a special button to my website.

Is this what happens everytime you submit an article? If not what can I do to capitalize on it. I plan on socially bookmarking the article of course, but can I do anything else???

Thanks for your help!

Well done first of all!

It's exciting to receive the first acceptance email from ezine articles.

I wonder if you have watched the recording of the broadcast from last night with Andy Jenkins? He made some interesting SEO comments about interlinking all of your web 2 content rather than pointing all links back to the money site.

Bearing that in mind, it may well be worth adding links from your Squidoo lens and hub page which point to your ezine article......

The broadcast was well worth watching for all sorts of reasons but I thought that was a particularly interesting nugget.

Default To get it right

So you're saying to put a link to your EA articles, that are all relevant, on your blog, weebly, lens and hub page is this correct? Just want to be clear on this, is this so that you can rank higher in the search engines? As opposed to linking them to each other to get sales? Thanks to whoever knows and can break it down to newbie level if I am wrong.

I agree. This nugget from Andy in last night's show was incredible. Made so much sense.

Default Interlinking all of your web 2 content

Hi,

I watched the broadcast from last night with Andy Jenkins.

Could someone give an example of what it means or how to "interlinking all of your web 2 content rather than pointing all links back to the money site"

Does this mean put a link in say hubpages to you blog and one in Squdioo to your hubpage, etc.

Thanks,

Lonnie

I am a real newbie but I think he was saying that your squidoo pages etc get ranked quicker than your website so therefore put the links in your article back to your squidoo lens etc.. Then when your website is ranking put links to it. Plus in your squidoo lens you can have a link back to your website.

I think I have the right end of the stick on this but I expect someone will come along & clarify it.
But watch the vidoe is was good

Hi Rustic,
You actually want your Ezinearticles to link directly back to your blog. The reason is that Ezinearticles is one of Google's favorites. It has a very high page rank and is recognized as an authority by Google. By linking to your site, your Ezinearticle shares some of that Google love with your blog. By sharing that love, your blog automatically gets some credibility with Google. That in turn will move it up in page rank.

For the same reason, you want links from Squidoo lenses, Hubpages, Weebly etc to also go directly to your blog. They are all highly regarded by Google and will share that love too.

This is kind of like hanging out with the popular kids in school. If they associate with you, you must automatically be pretty cool too! Your blog is associated with the cool kids in school through the links back from those sites. (That's how Ed explained it last year.)

BTW - the reason they all rank higher than your blog at first is because of the Google love!

Hope that helps and makes sense!
Amy
