Hi All
I'm very shortly due for a mobile phone upgrade. I currently have a phone based on Windows Mobile 6.5 (HTC Blackstone/Touch HD). My dilemma, what phone/OS to choose for my upgrade? I have 3 ideas:
I want your opinion on what I should get based on the idea that this new phone will be used with Internet Marketing at its heart. I don't want just a one word answer vote... I want answers backed up with actual useful reasons i.e. what are the best Internet Marketing apps available for each platform. I know iOS4 and Windows 7 Phone are not here yet, but base these opinions on current iOS3 and Windows Mobile 6 apps (as most apps will get upgraded), or indeed if you know of any future apps that will be released on the new platforms. I may even stick with my current phone and opt for cheaper line rental instead? Current apps I have are:
You may have already guessed I am Windows mad, but I do own a Macbook Pro too, so I am open to all platforms (including Android too). However I really can't stand iTunes and feel that Flash is still important for Internet Marketers based on the reason stated above. I welcome all your thoughts and I hope this thread will help a lots of people in sourcing the best apps/phone for Internet Marketers. Thanks ![]() p.s. please don't suggest other devices such as iPad, as I need to use it as a phone too (and simply can't justify buying more gadgets than I need!!). Also don't suggest other phones models, it's not really about the hardware, but more about the apps available on each platform, cheers! |

There is pretty much an app for everything on iPhone, I wish that I bought one a few years ago rather than getting a Windows mobile phone first, because I thought I would use it to do all these extra things.
In reality most stuff is a lot faster on a desktop/laptop, so I don't bother doing much more than browsing the web/reading articles and sending an odd email or two. You can find a phone that WILL do everything, but is it really worth stuffing around for 30mins doing something on a phone that can be done on a desktop in 10? |
