When choosing a domain name, which is more important in the eyes of Google: domain age or keywords in the domain name. I've had a domain with my company name for several years, but it contains none of my keywords.

There is no reason to look at it as a "one or the other" situation. You can have it all. Buy a new domain with your keywords in it and use it to cross promote your company name domain.

Thanks for your replies. How about if I include the keywords in the page name for the specific product, eg:
www.companyname.com/productkeywords Would this be a way to have both domain age and keywords in the domain? |

Domain age plays a big part in SEO. Google gives a lot of trust to old established sites and having exact match keyword domains can help you rank faster for sure.
You need to choose between a more brandable name or a keyword rich domain. Kinda depends on the site. Like if you are doing lots of adsense sites prob better to use keyword rich domains. If you wanna run one big website or blog may want a more brandable domain and if you can buy an older domain that can help you move things along faster instead of starting from scratch. |

in my opinion age matters but the domain with keywords is more better in the point of SEO. that will give you more sales and benefits.
