Default Local Business Group

Hi All

I to am looking at doing seo for local businesses.

Now I know quite a bit having done two previous TDC's but need, I suppose, a few points clarified but I'm sure I may also be of use to others in other ways but the thing is that if there are a few of you out there that want to do this to then we may be able to help each other out.

I'm based in Malaga Spain and also Brighton UK but more importantly, as I said, I am interested in talking to people that want to pool their knowledge or even resources and start earning a decent living through local seo.

I won't blah on in case this is considered an inappropriate post in some way and also there may not be anyone interested but let me know if you are.

In the meantime.

Default Thanks For The Reply

I'm thinking that in order to make a go of this I will need a site, business cards maybe an outsourcing contact or two and also in time, different short cuts or ways of getting ranked higher and quicker will no doubt arise along with ones that are not so good.

All in all stuff I can do on my own and others can as well. But it seems to me that they are all things that we are all going to need do and find out in the long run so whilst I'm not suggesting we share any profits I am thinking we could help each other to get to reach our aim a lot quicker.

A couple of other examples.

One of us creates one site with the same information because it's bound to be pretty universal, but different domain name?

A list of outsourcing co's that come quite highly recommended. I have know a pretty cheap source that will provide full time workers the cost of which could be split and the workload passed on could be split between us.

Cheers

Default Oh By The Way

I have a friend who is an Accountant and is very interested in me doing a site and local SEO.

I'm wondering if it's not such a good idea to take him on as because of the nature of the business any competition is going to have loads of .gov and .edu backlinks from all sources. It's easy to see them using MS but joining on behalf of my client etc may mean it would be a long time before he gets anywhere on Google?

Any views?

Regards
