Zen that's very sneaky and pretty advanced. As long as you are giving good and true content you should be fine and nobody should flame you. Never mislead people or you will get into trouble.

Michael, I'll stumble your page.

Forums & social sites can be good for traffic if you work them. This can take time.

Most social networking sites will allow your to put an RSS feed on your profile page.
many also have groups or blog sections where you can submit a partial post & link to the full post on your own site.
NING has thousands of communities & many are health related. You can put an RSS link right on them in 2 minutes. But, if all you do is slam up a profile page you will get very little attention. There is a few other strictly health communities such as Holistic Local. That has done me well in the past.

Forums are super. There again if all you do is register, slam adverts, or do not involve yourself in conversations - you get very little attention & your sig line will never be seen. I have used forums to build my personal business but, they are NOT a quick fix!

I will say that health related books & ebooks may be a hard sell as every Tom, Dick, & Harry have one and many are the same info that you can find online for free.
You may have to prove yourself as someone that is an 'expert' before they will even confider buying what you have written.

Not sure if this helps at all but, forums are what I have always used. Throw in a few social networking sites on the side.

Michael, hello.
Wow - 8 pages of text - great - if only I had time to read it all....
Someone may have already suggested this...
If I had to make $400 in two weeks I would do one thing and one thing only....
I would write.
You already have your eBook - I assume YOU wrote it.
Take the eBook and log into Warrior Forum
Create a WSO (Warrior Special Offer) and sell your eBook with PLR rights for $37.00 and limit it to 10 people ONLY.
That's a quick $370.00.
You can always write another eBook.
Keep writing, rinse and repeat.
Period.
Hope that helps.
Good luck brother.

OK, I'll put this out to everyone. I've sold a couple of copies, but I hesitate to do the social-bookmarking of all of my articles, because I've been told that writing the blurbs is a very important part of getting attention and thus traffic, and I'm not sure of my ability to do so.

Does anyone with experience have any good advice on how to Digg/Delicious/etc. in a way that gets people onto your blogs/articles/etc?

In personal news, the baby is due literally any day now, and I heard back from the volunteer lawyer that's been working on my unemployment case: it's been overturned, so I should be getting a big check from the state in the next couple of weeks that will keep my bills pretty much paid for a few months.

I'm still absolutely determined to be able to use the skills that all of you have taught me to support my family -- I just have quite a bit more time to get everything properly set up this time around.

Thank you all for all of your help -- at the risk of sounding repetitive, you've all just absolutely amazed me with your generosity and your expertise.

Caro: It's still going to happen. I won't let it fail.

Michael

Lightbulb The Secret

May I offer a little further advice than the inspirational Caro, please watch this movie The Secret :: Official Web Site of The Secret Movie :: Law of Attraction it is everything Caro covered but in movie form so a little quicker than reading when you have no spare time. Believe and you will succeed. My thoughts are with you, and we have all or are all in that boat at some stage. YOU WILL SUCCEED, good luck

Default The Science of Getting Rich

Hello;

I was once in deep financial trouble myself until i discovered a book called The Science of Getting Rich. It's not at all about Internet Marketing, buying stocks or any thing like that. It's totally all about the law of attraction and fits in excellently with Esther Hicks teachings. You can get it for free on my website. But you have to sign up for my news letter. It also has a free email course that goes with it.

You can pick it up HERE.

Congrats Essence, it's always good to get the financial monkey off your back. Especially for you with family and a newborn on the way. Keep rocking it.

Also, richcroc I dont know if the moderators have contacted you yet but the forum rules dont allow for self-promotion. You point out a good resource but building your list is against what Ed and Dan want in the forum.

Hi - this is Marty from WordPressDirect. My thought to help you. If you already have the Paypal account and you need quick cash, may I suggest making two copies of the site (or making a related one that can use much the same content) and selling it on SitePoint.com in the coming week. Get your team to also stumble this second site and show the traffic and Google rank in the SitePoint listing. If the first site is selling the ebook already, project the monthly sales from it and state it in the auction as the figure you have for a site in a related niche. Set a BIN of $200. Also, state that it is a blog in the auction listing. It think you can get $200 for it if the content is good and the site ranks.

Easiest process to turn a Skype conversation / interview into an .mp3 file that I know of is to use a piece of software called Pamela. I probably can't link to it from these forums, but if you google it you should find it. I use it and it works a treat, integrates nicely with Skype. I think you can even become an affiliate for it (but that's a distraction - stick to one thing at a time).

If you want to see what I'm talking about, it's right here.

I've put a picture on my blog, but I don't know how to get the picture to fit in the column width (or just display right over the edge of the column, if that's what's necessary.) How do I tell how wide my column is, and what's the best way to downsize the picture to match?

Thank you!!

Hi Essence,
I see that this is an old post (I was searching for linking, and, oh how well I can empathize with you...right there with ya (without the baby). Thoughts and prayers going your way.
Anyway, I see that your graphic is still mis-sized. TDC did a video about using picnik. com I think for doing just that. I'm pretty sure that will do what you need. I've never used it but it's in my notes.

By the way, I too could wage a very good conversation match with some nutritionists out there because of health issues, and no health insurance. Have had incredible challenges, won, but now cannot afford many of the particular supplements any longer. One was adrenal issues, as well. So, I'm just offering my help if you ever get stuck.

All the best
