Hi all, I already had a twitter account but following the guidelines on 30DC I deleted all of the ones that were following me (I didn't know who they were anyway) and just left the three leaders from the 30DC. So now it would seem that I am following them (as per the instructions) but they are not following me. Plus so far there has been plenty of talk about soccer but not one mention of 'The Challenge'. I thought that part of the object of the exercise was to keep the members informed? Am I doing something wrong here? regards Jim T.

Not sure where you got the idea that you should ONLY follow the main leaders of the 30DC. I believe that was suggested as a starting off point. You need to follow people who interest you. As you start work on the new challenge, maybe follow people who are talking about your niche (once you have decided what that niche will be). If you already have an online business then follow those who are in that market.
You will not get automatic follows back from most people - especially not Ed, Dan and Robert. Try to stay away from the "follow you-follow me" mentality on Twitter and follow those people who interest you the most. I follow lots of people who don't follow me back and I also keep the people I follow down to just a couple of hundred (and even that is probably too many) so that I don't get lost in all the noise. With the World Cup on it's natural that there is plenty of talk about football. But there will be tweets about the challenge as soon as they're ready to share more about what is happening. Twitter is definitely the best place to be to be kept informed about what is happening with the challenge. Lisa
