I'm in London too and there have been a few attempts to get more than two people together at any one time. Local meetups are encouraged because it can kind of help communications afterwards helping to build online networks and vice versa. You might also be able to arrange London and UK meetups via 30DC for UK Friendfeed group

Looks like there's quite a few of us.
I'm in South London Brixton. What kind of venue do you guys want to meet in and what do we want to do? I have my own yoga studio in Brixton which I'm happy to host meetings in and the good thing is the venue is free. It depends whether people want to talk about business and geeky things or want to just meet for social reasons. I'm just throwing out ideas here, because I don't know what people do at these meetings but the way I see it is the TDC is such a great opportunity, it would be good to meet offline and help eachother with whatever. I'd be interested to see what ideas other TDCs have. Joy when in doubt do yoga! |

We had a lot of discussion about good places to meet in London earlier this year here:
London/UK meetup in January 2009 We met in the British Museum ground floor eating area in the end, as it's central, free, and is suitable for just about any group size. It turned out to be a really good venue. I highly recommend it.

Because I get work at short notice I have been reluctant to arrange a meetup. However, I've been to a couple this month arranged at short notice with just Kevin and I. Meetups are not only great fun, but they're an excelent productivity boost. If anyone would like a heads up for these short notice meetups I can send out a tweet. Just let me know.
Having said that, if anyone would like to arrange a meetup I'll try and make it if I'm free.
