Seattle-Tacoma Meetup Anyone?

Are there other people in the Tacoma-Gig Harbor area or Seattle or Olympia area or thereabouts who would like to get together to discuss your progress and exchange ideas with 2 other 30DC members in the area? This would not be for the purpose of forming a team, because we are already on one, but really to get to know who else in our area is doing Internet Marketing and exchange exciting ideas to bring to market. I am David M. Brown, MD or @ZenDoc and I live in Gig Harbor, WA, and Joshua Johnston or @firegold21 lives in University Place in Tacoma. Since we are both in Pierce County, we would be inclined to conduct a meeting in Pierce County, probably Tacoma, but could travel to Federal Way or Sea-Tac if there were several people who wanted to meet from Seattle or north of there. I am still definitely interested in forming a local meetup group for the Seattle-Tacoma area for Internet Marketing in General, and also to review the 30DC if you want to & catch everybody up to speed (esp. me). If there is anyone in the Seattle-Tacoma are who has it pretty much all downpat and could tutor, esp. teaching any shortcuts in the learning process, I would be most grateful. The local Meetup group would not have to be a team for the contest, of course, but if someone wants to pursue healing, fitness, or weight loss, esspecially, then, the Healing Dream Team may be an appropriate place for you, if you do not have another team already. OK, I know there must be more Tacoma & Seattle Internet Marketers out there who are doing the 30DC, right? So far, we have @SabrinaP, @SundayBizWiz, @fridakahlolives who posted in a different thread, myself - @ZenDoc, and there was @firegold21, but he has since moved to Michigan after the 30DC started, so that leaves only 4 of us as of right now. We may each know someone whom we could invite, too, but, even if not, I think it would be worthwhile for us to get together and start planning more local meetups for our area for Internet Marketers. Also do any of you want an invitation to join the Healing DreamTeam to discuss markets & develop a product for the 30DC? @SabrinaP, did you ever get on a team? If not, the Ning groupsite for the Healing DreamTeam would be a good one for you to check out.

We could start with 4 or 5 of us if that's all there is for a meet-up. We probably should start at a library or coffee shop where we can bring our laptops and discuss any issues we are having, ask for help, etc. I know @SundayBizWiz also SoloSunday (her name actually is Sunday) is leaving the area on an extended trip very soon or may even be gone already. Also the Team that a couple of us formed initially to do the #30DC is called the Healing Dream Team and several of us there (in a Ning site) are going to start the #30DC over starting Monday, Sept.1 (Labor Day). I just started the 30DC. I've finished the preseason and day 1. I'm hung up on day 2 because I'm fearing I may not find a market for the idea I'm passionate about, but knowing is better than not knowing, so I'm going to push through. I'd love the support of a team to help encourage each other past these hurdles. I might be of some benefit to a health related team. I worked in health care reimbursement for state payers for 12 years and have connections with people at state agencies and at Medicare. My topic is loosely connected to health and wellness. I'm having trouble nutshelling it, but I guess I'd describe it as personal growth/social philosophy. I live in West Seattle.

Are you guys having any meetings? I am north of Seattle and not sure if it would make sense for me to go down to Tacoma. I would love to know more about what it is you are doing exactly and what you would like to accomplish with the HDT.
