    Hi Shane...

Glad to hear you're stateside and in a fairly close time zone...I think you're an hour ahead of us here.

If you want you can contact me on Skype at barry.brown61 also.

Online dating...yeah, that is pretty aggressive! As far as I can tell though, every niche out there worth being in is competitive.

I am also simultaneously trying out a business program that a friend of mine (since H.S. - we've known each other 30+ years) found that uses postcard mailings...he made $40K in sales last month mailing out postcards. So, I'm way too busy! Oh, and did I mention we also have four kids ranging from 8 to 15!

If you want to chat, Skype me any time (tomorrow probably would not be a good day to chat, but Wednesday a.m. could be good)...

My second site is still in need of some linking and content creation but is in the residential construction niche for Green Builds. Ya I know, another competitive niche..lol At least I know that there is good money to be made if I finish laying the proper groundwork for it.

The main thing I know now, is that anything is possible regardless of the niche we decide to take on.. Cheers!

    Hey Barry,

San diego is one of my favorite places.. I lived there in Pacific Beach for a about a year or so. I agree that once you've seen a beach you've seen all of them but I still miss it all the time, especially since I'm way more inland now, living in Wyoming..

Congrats on 17 years of marriage. That's absolutely wonderful and an amazing accomplishment if I do say so myself... My wife and I have been married now for 8 1/2 years and still looking forward so we must be doing somethiong right as well.

I think your idea for that niche are valid and worth looking into deeper. I also like the idea of using the site the gives the safeness ratings for your skin. Good Thinking.

As far as my sites go, one is in the highly-over-competitive-&-densily-saturated realm of online dating.. What was I even thinking? lol Actually I have done just fine with it so far. I think I'll be flipping it tho to free upsome time for other more productive ideas. ~Continued...

What is your website and MN? Have you decided on that yet?

My intitial focus will be reviewing cosmetics, particularly organic and mineral based...I found a great site that rates them for safeness on the skin...I will have to try to figure out how to incorporate that into making money as a lot of the better products don't appear to have affiliate programs.

The pic was taken of my wife and I on our 17th anniversary at a restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean in San Diego area this spring...unfortunately or not, you can't see the ocean by this time of the evening because it was dark (no, really!), but once you've seen one ocean you've seen them all.

    Are you in Australia?

I did drill down on all of them and decided, believe it or not, that cosmetics might be a good place to start...I purchased a URL - www.healthandbeautyproductreviews.com...it's open enough to also include health, fitness, cosmetics, weight loss, etc...it might be a winner!

Glad you posted the pic. It's much more personal than a default image..lol

As far as a MN goes.. I think you have mentioned plenty of good places to start.
Did you drill down on all these?

continued from previous post as you're allowed only 1000 words per post - lame!

I have explored my natural authority area (signs, banners, and decals - been in that biz for 18 years), archery, chocolate, cigars, wine, organic foods, cosmetics, and more. I am researching home business opportunities currently to see if there are some better payouts in some of those areas.

The problem I've seen in most areas is that the payout is too small to make a living at, so I am looking for niches that have information that can be marketed as the commissions range from about 25% to 75% on info products. I know some guys that make big bucks in info marketing, but how to break into that is a mystery.

Let me know where you're at on this process...thanks!
