Have to say I forgot about this, it is something you can do on firefox too, and all my machines were updated this way too..
Well spotted, I think there are some other hacks as well that help, to do with image processing and things I will see if I can find them

Glad someone else found it sooo slow ( I thought IE was slow). I had cleaned, scanned....Finally after messing with it decided it did not like me or my machine & took it off.
I put it back on & did the steps listed & it did help a bit. Now I just hope Ed shows us how to get rid of all the unwanted stuff - at least I did get rid of the 3 tabs it opened every time. YEAH! I will just wait & see how it works. Sheryl Loch

See - it just shows how much better it was to SEARCH for a thread about slow flock first rather than just post a question (like I almost did!)
Truly - it was going like a very old dog before, and I was having some doubts, but now... so much happier!  Thanks for finding the answers and posting!

I like Flock very much, I can't wait to see what all it will actually do, but I am very happy with this little tip. This is the reason to hang out in the forum. There are an awful lot of really smart people in here. Thank you! Susan

I'm with nightbear...I love the flock browser...never want to change!
Thanks for the tip on getting it working faster and better...it is so great to be a part of all this knowledge.
