Default TDC add on

I have installed the add ons. I ended up at the mozilla site and searched for the add ons there as they didn't show up for me on the tools/addons in flock.
I can't find the TDC search add on anywhare. I installed it ok on Firefox (don't remember how).
Anyone know where is the add on for TDC?

Hi Nez,
I installed all the stuff as instructed.
One bit doesn't seem to be working though - the twitter bar has an exclamation mark and a declaration "not compatible with flock 1.2b"
Is this a windows version issue and does anyone else have this problem (or just a solution would be good)?

Twitterbar was working within flock yesterday but today, no go.

Seems to be due to the inbuilt twitter capability of flock (at least this is what I found through googling).

Maybe fixed soon but who knows...

Default Just Installed Twirl

I think it's working not sure yet. It works on the Adobe Air platform.
Don't know much about it yet either.

Am I missing something ?

If not, maybe distribution via pdf might not be the most fun

What happens on Macs ?
Hi next day, you might want to look at some of the PDF download manager add-ons/extensions for firefox (and thereby flock). The best one I think is CALLEd pdf download manager. Just like someone posts re: Twirl, the other thing is to set a "open this file with this" preference in flock, and in your OS. There should be options for handling PDFs in both.... sorry can't be more specific. My pdfs on mac used to always open in "preview" argh - somehow I fixed it but i hate trying to remember how! good luck!

Question PicLens and Flock

On the PicLens Home page Flock is not listed as one of the supported browsers.
What does that mean from a practical standpoint?

Hi Val,

It shouldn't matter too much as Flock is built on the same Mozilla code as Firefox, so there shouldn't be any issues. And PicLens works on Firefox. I have PicLens installed on Flock as well as Firefox and have had no problems what-so-ever to date! PicLens is functioning exactly the same in Flock as it is in Firefox.
Hope this is of some help?

Kind Regards,

Tim

Hi Nextday

I you are still having problems go to start, on the righthand side of the menu you should see set program access and defaults. Check the settings for both microsoft and non microsoft. Yoyu can tell it which browser to use when finished click ok
This worked on my machine.
