Flock Add-ons Lesson Update

i'm just coming on board today and am having trouble figuring out why my PDF links insist on opening in Explorer, despite all my settings conforming to the friendly reminders mentioned here.

nextday, you mentioned a "flock problem-solving thread" ... is this an existing thread? if so, can you plz spare me the time of going thru the many forum pages and offer a link? i've so much to catch up on as it is!

Sound like you are left-clicking on the web page link to the .pdf - this will open it in Acrobat but inside your web browser. Try right-clicking on the web page link to the .pdf and selecting 'Save As' and saving it to your local hard drive. Then go to that folder and open the file in Acrobat normally.

Try searching the forum for 'flock problem' to find any threads that deal with those issues. Search is near the top right of this page.

Thanks for the walk thru on setting Flock as the default. I have Vista and usually once a day I bang my head against the wall because of some quirk with it.
