Elizabeth, do me a favour and just......Breathe!
![]() Everytime you start to panic because you don't understand something, take and deep breath and calm down. You need to tell yourself that you will understand these things and you will get to grips with all the teaching. Constantly telling yourself that you are not clever and not able to understand the internet will attract more confusion. And tell others that you may be new but you are keen to learn and have skills in other areas - then you are more likely to attract team members. At the moment the preseason is all about tools. The reason we are tackling these before the challenge because they require some getting used to. So, if you have a problem, please post it in as much details as possible. Someone will attempt to answer it. All the moderators on the forum have different skills too, so it depends on the subject as to whether they can answer your question. Eventually, someone will come along who can offer advice. The more you panic and stress over the small things the more likely you are to give up because you see it as a huge obstacle. Instead view these difficulties as minor hurdles that you can easily get over. Lisa

Seriously, you'll do fine in the 30DC (and have more fun) if you stop defining yourself and introducing yourself to others as a huge liability. It's OK to come here with zero experience and zero knowledge - that doesn't mean you are incompetent, useless, or some form of primal sludge. Lighten up on yourself, head on over to the Team Talk Forum and introduce yourself as a curious, enthusiastic fellow learner. You won't have any problem finding teammates. By the way, you already have mad skillz - you rank in the top 20 on Google for "atipique." Well played. ![]()
