Unhappy

I'd love to participate but I'm still blinded by the horror of the Mankini Trampoline incident.

I think it fried all the creativity out of my brain and still causes me to fall on the floor in fits of laughter whenever I hear the 2007 Thirty Day Challenge Theme song.

The one from 2006 is pretty horrible.

The one from 2007 is extremely good.

What if no one can top last years?

Thanks (I think).

Please don't think about it being a case of topping last year's. Last year's intro was what it was. It's been and done and gone.

A new and different concept is what's important. I will worry about making it sound good.

Part of learning this competition process is being able to take the seedling of an idea, build on it, write it down and then hand it over to someone else. In fact, if you have the complete audio production already running through your head when you write it, you may be disappointed with my interpretation of it

If you have never done anything like this before then it can be difficult to imagine what the finished intro will sound like simply because you have never had to turn words on a page into audio. So, don't focus too much on the end product and simply imagine your overall concept, write it down and create a general script to work from.

Just a quick reminder to get your entries to me this week for the Podcast Intro competition.

I've had a couple of entries already but would love to see more.

Remember, it's all about your ideas and creativity, and I know you have that in bundles

Email entries to me at lisa.hartwell@gmail.com

You don't need to be a great writer or display perfect spelling and grammar - just make your concept clear and write the wording of your script down.

Can't wait to receive them!

Lisa

I think Phill Mason is the man to speak to about 'seeing more'

And Ed appears to be his Underground Supplier.

Beechworth will NEVER be to the same

Thanks for all entries so far.

This is your final call to get your entries to me, and since I am away over the weekend, I will turn a blind eye to any that reach me a little after the deadline - you can have until midnight on Sunday (US Pacific time).

Shame I'll miss the 30DC TV show this week - I have a feeling there may be one to two references to the new iPhone. I believe Ed may have one

You were right....there was a single reference to the iPhone... for an hour!

LOL!

OK, the competition is closed. I now have to try and make the decision on which one wins - there are a few contenders so may have to recruit an impartial judge or two to help.

Default I won!!!

Wow! I'm so excite to win. Lisa - your gang did an awesome audio job. Thanks so much. Good thing it is only a minute and a half long, or I wouldn't get any keyword research done today. Replay, replay.
