Default So simple, yet so not working...?

HI there,

Does anyone have a clue why I wouldn't be getting any of Ed's avatar image results showing up in the fourth spot of google search results, when I try all kinds of keywords that should bring him up (thirty day challenge, immediate edge, internet marketing, etc.).

I followed Ed's 3 minute video, subcribed with the google subscribe button and voila - nothing.

Is there some D'oh! factor I'm overlooking?

Thanks,

Any suggestions on how to make this work with Google Blogger (blogspot) feeds?

I get the following error:
"Feed data could not be read: No coop:keyword tags in RSS feed"

I've done research on help groups for Subcribed Links, Blogger, and Technorati, but it's still unclear where to add the xmlns:coop="http://www.google.com/coop/namespace tag.

Any help appreciated, since I'm sure a lot of us are using Blogger.
I too am having that same problem. I've installed the Wordpress plugin, but I am still getting the “Feed data could not be read: No coop:keyword tags in RSS feed” error. I can't figure out where in Wordpress or in that plugin to put my "coop:keyword" tags! Very frustrating!

Ideas any one?

Nice find, accidental of course.

Just verified:

google.ca

ed dale - Google Search

NO 4th place result, this is the same for .co.uk, .pl - looks like Google Subscribed Links are NOT rolled out in local Google Search Engines.

google.com
ed dale - Google Search

BOOM! So it is only working Google.com, would be nice to have a follow-up from Ed about this. Will just Twitter him on it.

CONFIRMED

See: Subscribed Links Directory

12. Why don't I see my Subscribed Link when I search on another Google domain?

Currently, Subscribed Links only appear for searches performed on Google.com. If you're being redirected to another Google domain and you'd prefer to visit Google.com instead, click on the "Google.com" link on the bottom right-hand side of the Google homepage.

Default Thanks Gerry

Hi Gerry,

Thanks for sharing your site with us and how you are using the Google Subscribe Button.

Just a tip!!! "And I am no expert"

But i think you would be better off having the button "Above the Fold"

That means when you open your site you can only see half of the webpage and the button is tucked at the bottom n the left hand corner. You should bring it to the top.

Just a tip.

All the best

Richard

Gerry,
I went to look at the button on your blog simply because you posted about it here.
Create a blog entry about it on your site.
Announce it on FaceBook.
Twitter about it with the link.
I recommend you go back and personalize it some. It shows you as anonymous now.
You will get a fair amount of traffic to check it out now cause it's new. You are on the cutting edge, get busy now, before everyone gets one and we all know how to do it.
I got mine but can't figure out how to add it to my WordPress blog.
Oh, one more thing, can you put the button at the top of your page? No need for visitors to scroll down to find it that way.
Great success to you Gerry.

I get everything else but this......

you can then make it so that everytime they search for something niche related you can put a link to whatever you want on the first page of the results, no matter how much competition there is for that phrase.

Lovviinngg it.

Got it all but sussed now - the only thing left to do is change from Anonymous to my name and add an image (logo) relevant to my niche

(you do that from here http://www.google.com/coop/manage/su.../profile?hl=en)

Stuck it on my blog and already have a couple of people subscribed

wow! I got mine working, ranked in spot 4 pg1. However, here is a question...

I immediately tried to searc for the same keyword, using a different computer on my LAN, using firefox..(not Flock as is the case on my main PC) and the result doesntshowup anywhere on pag1 or even later.

Does Google maybe leave some hidden code on my pC when I makeup the "subscribed link" which forces the result to appear in spot4?

I would have thought the result show pitch up in spot4 on any PC...?
