Default Has anyone tried SEO for Firefox in Flock 1.2.1?

I'm using SEO for Firefox 2.7.5. The red links work, but when searching in Google, it doesn't display any result at all. The modified Google search result is there, but no data besides each fields.

- Tried disabling all add-ons
- Tried uninstall and reinstall

Both don't work. Anyone has the same problem? Or is it only me?

Henry,

The only thing I can think of is have you checked if your settings
are set to automatic as opposed to on-demand ?

This might be obvious but I just installed SEO for firefox on my Flock
test profile (I use SEOquake on my main profile, I like it better)
and noticed it had my settings all set to on-demand.

If you find this is the case just change the ones you what to populate
to automatic.

P.S. The more you have set to automatic the slower page loads will be.
You can always populate the ones you want when in on-demand by
clicking on the question (?) mark next to that link, that will load your
search page quicker instead of having all the stats load automatically.

Glad to know it works for others, so I uninstall Flock, delete all the rest of the files in the profiles (saving my Scrapbook data first), reinstall Flock and the add-ons once again.

Now it works. I used to have a similar problem with Twitterbar, but a quickly reinstallation worked for that.

Perhaps it has to do with one of my add-ons, although I can't think of why it won't work when I disabled all them but SEO for Firefox the first time.

Thanks Ron, mine was set to automatic all the time. I forgot to mention that. The automatic options makes it slower, but I disable it by default unless I'm in research mode.

It was working for me until 2 days ago. I figured I would uninstall/reinstall if I didn't find any other feedback.

Thanks
Doug

SEO for FireFox has had a problem working for Google
It still works for Yahoo.

If you are on a PC there is a fix/hack that works
you can find it here

Hope this helps. Worked for me

Anyone know if it's working for Firefox3 / Flock 2 beta?

SEO For FireFox and yes Flock
is now fixed.

If your browser does not automatically update the
SEO FireFox add-on when you start it

Go to Tools> Add-ons and click update

The latest update 2.8.4 should have it fixed.

It still wasn't working with the latest update (2.8.3) for me, but I tried the steps listed there and it works now! Thanks!

EDIT: Just noticed that 2.8.4 is available and downloaded that. Either way, it's working again.
