HELP! FriendFeed and Twirl Not Synching

Have done the installation of twirl and it's working great with Twitter.

Set up with FriendFeed and the login screen keeps coming up but when
I enter the remote key it asks for it won't log me in.

What am I missing??

I think its me that is missing something. Did you mean that you can use Twhirl with Friendfeed, IE you can post to FF using Twhirl?

Yes you can use twhirl to post to friendfeed, twitter and you can also (if you have a seesmic acount) get and watch Ed's seesmic videos all through twhirl once you set it up! You can do that by going to the accounts section of Twhirl and adding your friendfeed and seesmic account details in there.

I've had the same problem as you with FriendFeed in Twhirl ever since Ed first had us download it. Never have been able to get it to accept my remote key. Not sure what the deal is. Twitter and Seesmic work fine. Well, semi-fine. Can't see my inbox or own videos in Seesmic, but I don't suppose I need to watch myself, right? :-)

I must admit to the same issues. I eventually uninstalled Twhirl. Was I too hasty?

I uninstalled and reinstalled Twhirl. Also deleted my FF account then added it back in. Everything is case sensitive and I may have had my login or password entered incorrectly the first time.

Wasn't willing to give up - had to be something I was doing since it was working for most everybody else.

So I am up with Twirl on FF - just not sure what to do with it now. Will be playing with it over the next week.

Hmm. I hate to uninstall/reinstall, but maybe I should try that. Have never had a problem with Twitter and Seesmic just jumped right in with no issues. (Well, except that I followed someone using Twhirl and it didn't translate to my profile on the webpage.) Guess it's time for serious action to get FF running.

I just found this thread - was having that exact problem.

Before you completely uninstall twhirl and the other accounts that are loaded in - try deleting your friendfeed account and then add it again by inputting your username and your remote key.

I just did this and it loaded just fine for me.

Hey - Chris - thanks for the response. After all was said and done, I found I was getting the Twitter and Friendfeed log ins mixed up so nothing was working right. Another great lesson in making sure of the input so we don't get garbage on the output.
