Default A Mozilla add-on

I just downloaded an extension from the Mozilla site called:"Hyperwords"
Does any know of this extension ?
The reason I'm asking is because it seems to have taken over the function of the Search bar away from Flock and I'm not getting that great on-the-fly-search readout I was getting. I'm thinking of taking it off.
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with it ? Maybe there is a way to regain control of the Flock search bar and still use this add-on ?
Otherwise, I'm gonna have to take it off.Thanks.

Hi LB7,

Hyperwords is an awesome add-on but you do need to confiqure
it.

Go to
Tools> Add-ons Select hyperwords then click the options and
go through and set it up

Also you can right click on an empty spot on a page, in the menu
hover over hyperwords than either select user settings or user guide

Hope that helps

Thanks for your help.
But a lot of those options(I must admit,I don't understand) It seems like a very nicely integrated tool,BUT, it's seems to be interfering with Flocks search ability?
Putting their Icon right in the upper right search box. When I type in a search term the on-the-fly Flock read-out has stopped !
I don't see in options the ability to move that icon out of the search area so I could have BOTH abilities running ?

LB7,

Go to Tool> Add-ons> hyperwords and click options

Under the toolbar option in the first drop down (install/uninstall)
select "Standard toolbar only"

That should put you back to your standard search function

I DON'T know what to do now. I just posted this on the Flock Forum(who NEVER respond):

"LOOK I;M GOING @#$%^& CRAZY with this Browser.
I can't take it anymore.
I just downloaded an add-on called:HYPERWORDS. It took over the upper right hand Search Bar ! So...when I typed in a search term I LOST Flocks on-the-fly contextual search read out ability. SO.... I disabled the add-on THEN, on re-start ALL MY TABS and Favorites And God knows whatever else DISSAPPEARED !
SO.....I uninstalled Hyperwords and re-started. On re-start I LOST the WHOLE SEARCH BAR in the upper right hand corner ! I Don't know it seems hyperwords took it with it.This S@#s and I'm SICK OF IT !
HOW DO I get my Tabs (and whatever else) back ! WHY am I I losing these things ! How do I get the Browser back to the way it was BEFORE I installed Hyperwords ?"

I'm at my wits end with this Browser. Now the whole browser doesn't seem to work ! I go into options I can't re-set my home page, it doesn't keep my tabs on re-start(selected in options). The Browser doesn't seem to be responding anymore.

I'm tired of having to re-work and re-set-up this Browser Over and Over. Sorry, but I'm VERY frustrated.
Oh yeah, and also (for some reason even though I un-installed the add-on it still shows in the add-ons menu-why is that ?

I was actually surprised when Ed didn't suggest this add-on for the 30DC.
I think its one of Firefox/Flocks most useful add-ons.
We've used in on Flock and Firefox for an age and couldn't live without it

There is NOBODY on the Flock Forum to help me AT ALL ! The Support is the PITS ! I apologize but I going crazy with Flock between my PC and my Mac versions and all the frustrations of getting no timely help. This has been going on for a WEEK now;between assorted issues, on and on.... NOW I'm probably going to have to RE-START Loading the add-ons .... all over again for (I don't know) HOW MANY times and START ALL OVER;BECAUSE, (for some abstruse reason to my uneducated Brain), the Browser isn't responding any more. So I'll probably have to uninstall and re-install ad infinitum AMEN.
I'm sorry but I DO have smoke coming out of my ears.

Sounds like it's out to get you, you should try something else.

This one looks safe.

LB7,

Welcome to the Internet and techno world !

"I gave you the answer to get your search functions back."

I have Hyperwords on both FireFox3 and Flock2 and have
had this add-on for ever. I agree with Calison I would not
want to be with out it.

If you are still using Flock 1 do yourself a favor and upgrade
to the latest version 2.0b2

Calm down, take a deep breath. I think any of the vets here
will tell you WE Have All Been There and I'm sure will have issues
sometime, somewhere again one day.

Thats just how it is.
