Default Google Reader Blunder..Please help

Can anyone help?..I have installed Google Reader but did not follow Ed's video instructions...now the videos are confusing as I do not see it with RSS feed...nor do i see it the way it is displayed in Ed's next video. Can anyone tell me how to delete, reverse or uninstall Google Reader so I can start that process again.

Cheers.

Hi phoenix8,

If you are trying to set up Google Reader in flock2 (which you should use) or FireFox3 than this thread should help you accomplish that.

Google Reader not showing like Ed's video

Feel free to PM me or just post here again if you still need help

Hello Ron,
When I go to Tools/Options I don't see any application icon...and box contains a single vertical row of info not two...Google Reader is installed but I must have missed a step in linking RSS to Reader or something...I hate to give up but at the moment i fell like a blind man in a dark room...If i can't see in my system what I see in Ed's next Google Reader video...there's no way forward.

If you can help in any way it would be most appriciated.

What if I went to Accessories/Sytem tools/System restore?..would that remove or uninstall Google Reader so that I can start from scratch and install it as per Ed's video?

Glenn

Glenn,

DO NOT SYSTEM RESTORE!!

This is I'm sure a issue between Flock and Greader

Do you use any chat program?

Skype? Google Chat? Yahoo messenger?

I can help you much easier and quicker through a chat.

Sent you a PM with other contact info

Glen,

Here is Ed's Pre-season video on how to set up google reader. Also while there if you right click on the little "T" next to each video link you'll get a written transcript of every step Ed covers in the video's...this may help you, if you think you have missed a step or gone wrong somewhere.

Also to make you google reader look like Ed's in the video...he is using "list view" rather than the default Expanded view. Click the list view tab at top right hand corner when on the google reader page in your browser and it should more or less look similar to Ed's.

To your success.

Tim
