I'm having a heck of a time getting Twhirl to play nice. I have everything up and running perfectly except for one thing. I keep getting "limit exceeded" messages every time I try to follow somebody via Twhirl (by clicking the little "+" icon).
I read the FAQ from Twhirl's site, and I figured Twitterfox was my problem. I uninstalled it and the problem still exists. When I hover over that little icon in the bottom-right of Twhirl, I have the following stats: "API used 11/100 reqs | health: 100%." Doesn't this mean I should be able to do whatever I'd like? I may have accidentally messed with network settings... so would somebody with a working Twhirl reply with their settings? (Options->Network) Thanks for the help! |

I'm only following 26 people. And only have like 20 followers. I even tried creating a new account on Twitter, and I still couldn't add favorite tweets or follow new people

Ok, this is likely within the known issues being addressed in the next update.
To keep up on this see Customer service & support for Seesmic In the meantime, folks can service their account through Twitter.com, and use Twhirl simply as a client. I use both simultaneously anyway. |
