The Newbies room

Hi there,

I just created 'The newbies room'.
It's a private room for members who didn't find a team yet or for the newbies here in the forum.
I'm living in Belgium, Europe. I just started the 30Day challenge and I'm doing the pre-season lessons. I just finished the lesson about friendfeed.

People all over the world can join. Time differences may not be a problem.

I am so new I still am not sure what this is. I got caught up in the tidal waves of buy my better system nonsense, didn't by any but I'm clogged with offers. I did take all the free stuff and it could take me years to sort through it and watch the pile of DVD's I've been sent. Seems like the same old merry go round, get really rich if you write a book about how to get rich. And the only ones getting rich are the authors selling their books. Exactly like the old Mail order biz stuff before the interweb.
Finally someone sent me this way to learn how to get started doing something. And now I have even more videos to watch, more user names and passwords to keep track of, YIKES it's a conspiracy to drive me Bonkers.
Thankfully Firefox has that built in password keeper as does my new Flock browser, that just copied my Firefox stuff.
So what is this team thing all about? i'm somewhere around day one or episode three of the Pre-season videos, I think.

So what's happenin'? Looking at the post dates, including the one and only post from Philippe more than a month ago, it appears that you have "lost your steam" before you ever got started. If so, and you're still looking to get started, please let me know!

Hey gang, as you can tell I am new to 30dc. I really hope there are more of you out there because I feel completely lost. I'm still on the pre-season and am totally overwhelmed. What are your thoughts...

I am new, too, but perhaps not quite as overwhelmed as you are. Are you needing help with something? Currently I am on #6 of the preseason, and can't Google Reader setup, because Google Reader is not among the options in my Flock.

Hey trainthek9, thanks for the reply. I'm almost done with the preseason too. I'm overwhelmed but very excited... I think I have everything setup properly. Still trying to find my way around all of the networking tools. I'm in no rush though...
