Looking for a team...to begin 9.22.08

I have only recently learned of the 30 Day Challenge, and thank God I did! I finally feel as if I have a concrete action plan of beginning my Internet Marketing career. I love my job; so much in fact that I would do it for free if I could. Perhaps after completing this challenge, I WILL be able to do it for free!

Today is Sunday, September 21, and tomorrow (Monday, September 22) I am beginning DAY 1 of my 30DC. My goal is to work through the course 5 days out of the week and complete in at the end of October on the 31st. I am posting this new thread because I would love to find a team that I could complete this challenge with.

To be honest, I'm not sure exactly what I am looking for, as this is my first 30DC. Ideally, I would like to find a group who can commit to a schedule similar to mine, and we could work together, discuss ideas, and share in all the benefits of joining a team. I am 22 years old with average technical skills, a good command of the English language (I love to write), and a great work ethic. I am determined to make my first dollar by October 31st, and if there are 3 or 4 people who would like to partner with me, then I would love for you to give me a shout, and we'll see what happens! In case you wanted to know a little more about myself, I decided to post my introductory comments again below. Take care!

Just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. My name is Derek Thomas. I am originally from south Louisiana, have lived in Memphis, TN for the past two years, and have settled down about 45 minutes outside of Seattle, WA, in the DuPont area. If anyone is in the area, feel free to give me a shout.

I am 22 years old, and married to the most amazing girl in the world, Alissa. We currently have no children. I guess we're waiting for me to make my first million in the wonderful world of IM!

In all seriousness, I'm not looking to become a millionaire (although I'm fully convinced anything is possible!), I'm just looking to supplement my current income in order to (1) better provide for my family and (2) be able to spend my time on what's really important in life.

My hobbies include a nice round of golf, a day at the lake, or getting lost in a good book. In all honesty you could also say IM is a hobby of mine, as I really do love it. In many respects I don't know what I am doing, but I guess that's why I'm here in this 30-Day Challenge. The world just doesn't get any better than that...making money doing what you love.

I would be interested in joining your team as well. It sounds like I'm in the same boat as you, just older (31). I live in Nevada and can work all day on my days off on internet marketing, but I haven't had a lot of luck income wise. I'm currently on day 12, but will be going out of town for a week and will fall back to where will probably be. PM me if you want to talk and see what's up....

I started the challenge in September but I didn't have a chance to give it my full attention. I completed the preseason and went through some of material. I have the time now to give it a go and I would love to join a team. I have some experience and I believe I could be a valuable asset to the right group.
