NEW Team FOCUS- Fun Online Creating Unbelievable Synergy!!

Hey Everyone,

Joy here from Columbia, SC (USA). I *just* signed up for the 30DC today and watched my first pre-season video. I'm looking for 3-5 people who've already made the decision to be successful in this challenge, regardless of current results/training/situation. How can you strengthen this developing team?

I am a newbie to IM who's 'read all the books and more,' and I'm focused on launching my first Internet Biz. My target goal is to create a site generating $10k/month within the next 12 months. I am looking for a team where we email each other brief daily accountability reports- what results we accomplished and problems we've had. This system has worked STELLAR for Eben Pagan's online $20M/year biz. Would also like to have weekly 30 min. skype video conferencing to mastermind together and help with each other's trouble spots. And of course, general support, encouragement, and celebration of the FUN we are having in doing this challenge together.

I would be interested in joining your team. I like your motivation and think it's a great idea to maintain a lot of contact. I probably wouldn't be able to participate in a weekly video conference though as my work schedule is all over the place. Not sure if that's something your willing to be ok with?

I think 12 months to make 10k is to long. You just need a better team, with quicker and realistic goals..

Thanks to everyone who responded...I think we're going to have an awesome experience working together and celebrating each others' successes. I can feel the awesome synergy we're gonna have. And this is my first online-team, so I'm excited to see how we'll grow together doing this long distance.

I think that if we commit to weekly Skype calls, it's important for every person on the team to be able to make it. Otherwise, we develop 'drag time' where extra energy would be diverted away from moving ahead and towards 'catching people up.' So please, if you're unable to make the weekly calls (or commit to the daily posts), then this won't be the right team for you.

As per Ed Dale's suggestion, I've created a FriendFeed room exclusively for our use. Our Team FOCUS format will be as follows:

1) daily posts to our FriendFeed room, answering (briefly!) the following three questions:
1- what results I accomplished today
2- what challenges I am having
3- what my main objective is for tomorrow

This post should take no longer than 5-10 min. MAX to write. Any longer than that, and you're making more work than is necessary for yourself.

2) weekly 30 min. Skype calls, with time divided equally to each team member after a 2 min. 'intro/greeting/warm fuzzies' opening. We'll start promptly on time, and team members will trade off on 'leading' the sessions. Session leader will be responsible for making sure each person doesn't go over their time limit, and for posting a general meeting outline on the FriendFeed room. I suggest that our calls be made from 9:30pm-10pm EST on the day we decide on. This will give us a 'doable' time frame that'll span the US time zones.
