I'd be very interested in joining the UK based team. I'm a complete Newbie to the challenge. I dipped my toe in the water with it in 2007 but never really got past about day 10 (I started late and was always trying to catch up with the pre-season). So far with this year (09) I've made the effort to stay on top of the preseason tutorials, so that come 1st Aug, I can concentrate on Ed's training.

I'm a Chartered Engineer that was made redundant 2 years ago. Since then, I've been trying to grow a business from a hobby. It's growing slowly, but I'm missing a trick with the internet. I have a website with an e-commerce shop with little traffic and trade. I'd like to grow this arm of the business. I have no experience of Internet Marketing and don't really understand how the 30DC is going to change all of this and how all of this can be incorporated into my current site.

With being a complete Newbie I can't really say that I can add to the skill set already mentioned in previous posts, but what I can offer that few others will have, is that I speak fluent German. Maybe some of the members have a need for some help with real world languages!!!!

Based in Merseyside. With Skype etc, location isn't a problem but it would be nice to know if there are some local contacts!

I hope that you are happy to adopt me and that somebody can perhaps answer my queries. At the moment, I don't see how my website/business and the 30DC jigsaws fit together.

Steve I am way behind in the preseason. Have you had any online discussions or anything yet? I have a good bit to catch up so plan on doing it this weekend.

@Trevario, don't worry at the moment, just try and catch up when you can, there are a few discussions in the FF room, but if you have a question just ask in the room - some people seem to be monitoring the room more than others but I expect that will pick up the closer we get to the start
