Ideally, the Team members would have access to Skype and/or MSN/Yahoo Instant Messenger in order to participate in Team conference calls

The aim of the Team is to participate in the 30DC 2009 & go through each learning stage on-time, as we all know how easy it can be to fall behind, especially with family, children, work distractions etc!

I see this team as a coach, mentor, support, and accountability group.

Coach
- When a team mate is having trouble with a part of the 30DC that you are skilled at you will be a coach.
Mentor - When you are having trouble with a part of the 30DC other team mates that are skilled in that area will be there to mentor you.
Support - It is always easier to have other people with the same interest to be able to bounce ideas off of or just hang out with.
Accountability - We will help each other stay focused and on task.

For the duration of 30DC if it is decided to undertake a Team Project as well as our own individual ones then any profits (after costs) are planned to be donated to charity - The Royal British Legion (as this is primarily a learning experience after all!)

However, on completion of 30DC, obviously decisions would be made as to whether the Team continues, evolves, or just drops the project and treated as purely a learning experience

Once 30DC09 has been completed, we should have a REALLY STRONG Team to move forward, form some partnerships and go on to and earn some 'proper' money

Numbers in the Team are fairly flexible, if there are a lot of takers, then it may even be feasible to create sub-teams based on location (to aid face-to-face meet-ups) and skills (where the strengths and weaknesses would, where possible be matched to create another STRONG I.M. team

Any takers, in the first instance, please feel free to contact me via:
PM on this Forum
or reply to this post

Thanks

Steve

Hi Bulldog Alliance,
My name is Hugh Fraser, and I completed last year although didn't make any money due to picking the wrong type of market (even with Market Samurai!)

Weaknesses:
  1. Keywords: being able to use Market Samurai to it full potential even though I have spent the money on it!
  2. AdWords: I have not done any campaigns, although I did watch the videos from last year.

Strengths:
  1. Blogging: I have used WordPress Direct. although I don't like it. I can also install using Fantasico & also Manually Install it as well.
  2. Skype: Have Got Skype And Pamela For Skype So I can Record chats if need be.
  3. Audio Editing: Although at a basic level I can still do it.
  4. S3 Account: I have got an S3 account on Amazon.
  5. Full Copy of Market Samurai.

That's about all I can think off for now.
Hugh

Hi Steve and Bulldog Alliance

I would be interested in joining the UK team. I am based in the Midlands.

I have basic skills in several Internet Marketing fields, although I don't profess to be an expert in any of them.

I already have an Internet business with products and would like to increase traffic and conversions.

I build my own websites using Dreamweaver, I have set up and use WordPress. org blogs with fantastico, I have a Facebook and Twitter presence, I use Skype, I have recording facilities other than Pamela, I have created and published online videos, audios and ebooks.

I think that is about it for now.
Thanks.

Thumbs up Would like to join Bulldog Alliance

What a great group! I would love to join this group being as I've been struggling away on my own for 2.5 years alone in my bedroom and don't really know anyone in internet marketing in the UK. (Sound familiar?)

I've just written my first ebook and hoping to have it up online by the end of July. Struggling with the technology, sales letters and so far I've spent a lot of money but haven't made any yet, but now it's all just about to change. I can't get back to the thread from here but I see there is someone with some ebook marketing experience. Would love to talk with you.

I'm still dabbling round the edges of internet marketing so I can't share much in the way of knowledge but I am a profession massage therapist, so I'm happy to swap a massage for your skills if you happen to live near south London. Just a thought anyway.

I'm looking forward to being part of this group and the next thirty day challenge. Thanks for the invite.

Joy

Hi all,

Any room for another one?

I did the 30 DC last year and got a no. 1 rated site but actually never really got round to monetizing it. It made me a few dollars or so through an Amazon book and it is still no. 1 today but since it was not connected to my business I did not give it the attention it deserves.

What I really want to do this year is something more relevant to one of my main businesses.

My skills are not so much in IM but more in business, I'm a Management Consultant and have a lot of strategy development and marketing experience. I get by on the internet with most of the tools but do sometimes need a bit of help with the initial stages.

Have not yet started the pre-season stuff but with any luck it won't take me too long to catch up since I did last years challenge.

Thanks
Sue
