Default How to Use This Section Of The Forum

Hi 30DCers,

If you haven't done so already, please go here for an overview of the forum Rules & Procedures.

2009 30DC Rules & Procedures :-)

To reiterate as per the rules and to clarify any uncertainty, this thread is for creating teams.

You visit it to find a team, and may post accordingly on an existing thread.

Or you may post to create a team.

Ongoing Team Liaison is to be taken to an environment you have set up as a team.

We recommend you create a Google Group for your team. And use that to email one another. Use Skype to speak to your team members. And also use Google Documents for any spread sheet related activities.

As per the video I created for Pre-Season on Teams - the major benefits of a team is the support you offer each other as you go through the 30DC process.

Each individual team member is to work on their own 30DC project(s), and collectively as teams you come together to discuss your progress, and ask any questions.

What is discussed in the team, stays in the team. As in each team should consciously and verbally commit to respecting the privacy of each member regarding the keyword phrases you are working on (and do not be at all surprised to discover some of you are aiming for the same keyword - experience demonstrates that as commonplace).

So you offer respect, privacy without scarcity amongst your team members (if you have chosen your team members wisely, it is redundant to worry about anyone 'stealing' anything from you).

We also recommend team sizes function at their optimum with 4-5 members.

And if someone pulls out - so what - this is about YOUR journey. This is about YOUR success, so if you choose to allow the actions of another to effect your own end outcome...you are only hurting yourself.

Generally - using the attraction principal - you do tend to attract like minded people. And it is also usual for some to drop out - I just hope it isn't you

Again - the power a team offers, I do believe is what contributed to my own successful challenge and subsequent career in IM. Though the key was the initial decision I made to make this work for me no matter what.

Best to you all

Caro
