Come on Sunshiners!
There must be others of you that are doing the 30dc, and want to spend your time working on the challenge - not driving down to Brisbane!! Seems like I'll need to share who I am - so you'll know who you're missing out on! Stunningly gorgeous, massively intelligent, incredibly funny, knows all the answers etc etc - don't believe a word of it!! The truth is I am in my 50's with a young daughter. I have a casual job to help pay the bills. I love living on the Sunshine Coast and used to think I liked renovating - until I just finished doing one!! I am full of ideas and love brainstorming. And I love the internet - have had information websites for new Parents for some years now - and am really excited to give the Challenge my best shot. I would love to be able to connect with people who will give it their best shot too, and will stay the distance, and we can support each other - as I am sure there will be some bits we all get sooner or later than others. I really believe in synergy - working together - you can get exponential results!! So come on - don't be shy - I'd love to meet you! No doubt, I thought she was from the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia, Canada, LOL. Until I saw Brisbane.

As I said - sunshine in British Columbia - what a crazy idea!
I thought it rained 364 days of the year - how can you call that a Sunshine Coast?? - only a Canadian would think that one day of sunshine gives them the right to call it a Sunshine Coast!! - just kidding - I heard it is very beautiful there. Actually, when I first finished my Nursing/Midwifery - I was going to go and work in Vancouver - and then someone told me about the rain - so I had to give it a miss!! Ros |

Actually it is only the coastal regions that get that kind of rain. Yes on the coast of BC it can rain for 30 days or more.
Fortunately I moved 250 miles inland about six years ago and we now enjoy a climate that is much warmer in summer, dryer, but yes, we do get some snow in winter and some rain in May. I always thought it was April showers that brought may flowers. By the way, down on the coast, the residents take their sunshine in a liquid form, LOL Darren From the Sunny and warm, Okanagan, British Columbia
