"The price of anything is the amount of Life you exchange for it" Henry Thoreau
How much is 30 days of your life worth? Priceless? Your monthly wage? A million dollars? Something besides money? Now for the more important question. What did you exchange your August 2007 for? I don't know your answer but I do know mine. Before I tell you what I received for my month, let me tell you how I spent it. I joined the 30 day challenge, viewed a few lessons, worked my day job, walked my dogs, read some books, ate dinner with my family and floated in my pool. After all that, I was $2000 further in debt without a single memorable experience. The funny thing is, the 30 days in August 2008 (I can only assume that in Australia they don't have the 31st of August ) must be spent in August 2008. They can't be saved up and spent at a late date when something worthwhile comes along. Since I can't save the month of August to use later, I will exchange the month for $1.00 plus the experience of total commitment. Does anybody out there want to join me? How about just watch the process? I will be brutally honest about my activity and results. Ideally, I would like to be part of global 12 member team. While some may consider this a large team, I believe that by utilizing old school email along with the wonderful tools Ed is showing us, we can all be involved. Not everyone doing this challenge will be successful. Some who start out as observers may start to participate and some who commit will become observers. However, some will be very successful. I believe that if 12 people actually work this together, at least one will catch fire. So come join me and be one of the 12. If you're not the one on fire, at least you can see it happen, feel the warmth and maybe catch a spark yourself. If you're already a member of such a team and think I might be a good fit, let me know. Either way post to this forum or find me on Twitter, Friend feed or google. If I hadn't already started a team, I would be more than glad to join yours. I find myself in the same position as you. Last year I really just put it off. But this time, I am coming in strong and ready.
Maybe you would like to join the show on the 26th... My team will be meeting in a local library to go over everything that Ed has taught so far. We will have access to the internet, so we are going to try to answer questions that we may still have. By all means I am not experienced, but I am very fast at learning and turn around and teaching (and when I don't know, I can find an answer fairly quickly)... So, anyway, I will be streaming this class live on ustream for anybody else who would like to tune in and get caught up and/or help with answering questions... the class will be open to all online.... the team is open to people living in the area. I would very much like to keep you in my back pocket (if you know what I mean), it seems like you are the type to keep in mind if for any reason two teams had to join forces. ![]() Well, I will stop rambling here... and hope to see you and your team on the 26th (10am Est)

I love your idea of streaming your local meeting. I'll definitely try to participate. Please consider a resource whenever needed.
