Default Important for Team Organizers

Hey all,

Hope you're off to a great start individually, and with your teams.

One VERY important note, especially for those organizing a team:

If there is anyone waiting to hear back from you,
please be sure you have replied to them.

Do not blow it off because your team is full, or you yourself have
moved into another team.
This happened a bit last year, and there are a few struggling newcomers
who are in limbo waiting to know.

Be other-centered in this respect please.

Also if you have openings, and see a person still seeking,
perhaps contact them.

Thank You, and Best to everyone in the Challenge
and the rest of your successful year!

Ed

Default An alternative approach?

Maybe some of the more experienced members should consider taking on a team to mentor - say on a 1:5 ratio or something?

Just throwing some ideas out there. It seems like there a lot of drifting souls this time around. Maybe it was the same before and I just didn't notice??

For what it's worth.

Thanks Ed... I've been so busy with my team, I haven't even checked to see if there were new request... How rude of me!

It's definitely a good idea. @karen I had someone asking about a team who did the challenge last year and told her to contact you.

Keeping some of the newbies in good spirits is key to having a good challenge. Negativity can affect the entire community. Ed has a great point here to at least give them an answer.

There's nothing worse than being hanging in limbo.

Is there a way to subscribe to a post here in the forum. If so, could you subscribe to the team recruiting post and thus stay updated. Can you delete a post or thread once the team is compiled?

How do we become a team? Just agree to it on words/email/posts or there is a functionality no T30DC for that?
